The 9/29 edition of WWE Friday Night Smackdown drew a final 2.5 broadcast rating with a 4 share. That is up from last week's 2.4 rating, but probably wasn't the number WWE was hoping for by bringing WWE Champion John Cena to the program.

According to reports, Chris Benoit is scheduled to work upcoming Smackdown House Show events in Michigan on the weekend of November 4 and 5. It is possible Benoit could be returning to Smackdown TV before then, but nothing has been confirmed quite yet.
