WWE's recap of Cena on ''Cold Pizza'' leaves out info on AJ & TNA's belt
On Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at 2:18 PM EST The official websites for both WWE and TNA have articles up this week about the edition of "Cold Pizza" on ESPN 2 yesterday that featured an appearance by WWE Champion John Cena, who was later joined by Chicago White Sox star AJ Pierzynski.
Clips of Pierzynski in TNA were shown to Cena and then Pierzynski came out to join Cena carrying a replica of TNA's X Division Title that was given to him and the Chicago White Sox earlier this year by the company.
While the story on TNA's website heavily emphasizes "WWE Champion John Cena", the story on WWE's website simply notes that Pierzynski came out along with Cena to "issue a challenge" and no mention was made of the clips of AJ in TNA nor the X Division Title (which is no big surprise). Anytime Cold Pizza host Jay Crawford mentioned TNA, reports from the show stated Cena was very quiet and did his best not to acknowledge it.
