The following took place on Sunday in Los Angeles:

Dark Match:

- WWE U.S. Champion Chris Benoit defeated Sylvan.

WWE Monday Night Raw Tapings (October 16):

- The show opened with Edge and Randy Orton coming out dressed up as DX. Edge was dressed up like Triple H, while Orton was dressed up like Shawn Michaels. The two cut a promo on the fans for buying DX merchandise. DX then came out and made jokes about Edge and Orton. Orton challenged Triple H to a match later tonight.

- Cryme Tyme defeated World Tag Team Champions The Spirit Squad in a Non-Title Match.

- Backstage, The Coach was speaking with King Booker when Cryme Tyme came in. One report said Cryme Tyme picked his pockets. They also supposedly joked about how Booker doesn't speak ebonics wel.

- Jeff Hardy retained the WWE Intercontinental Title in a Four Way Match over Shelton Benjamin, Chris Masters and Super Crazy. Hardy pinned Masters after a Swanton Bomb.

- Backstage, Vince McMahon came up to King Booker and Big Show asking where John Cena was. He teased he would make a major announcement next about Cyber Sunday.

- Melina and Johnny Nitro then came out. They promoted they had a big celebrity ready to come out...and it was Kevin Federline. This reportedly got tons of heat from the L.A. crowd. John Cena came out and did a rap about K-Fed. Cena then hit the ring and took out Nitro. King Booker and Big Show then came out going at it on the mic. Vince McMahon then came out and announced that at Cyber Sunday, the fans would be choosing which world title would be on the line in the "Champion of Champions" Match. Cena asked Federline which title he wanted to see defended and then gave him an FU.

- Carlito defeated Rob Conway. Conway came out first complained about not being used.

- Backstage, Edge tried to get a rematch for a shot at the WWE Title with Vince McMahon. McMahon instead proposed Edge & Randy Orton vs. DX at Cyber Sunday instead.

- Steve O & another member of the MTV Jackass crew came out. They said they would take on anyone. Umaga came out and destroyed both of them. Reports from the show said Umaga looked a little stiff with them since they were no-selling the offense.

- Maria won a Four Way Bra & Panties Match over Torrie Wilson, Victoria & Candice Michelle. Maria advances in the WWE Women's Title Tournament.

- Triple H defeated Randy Orton. The finish saw Triple H hit Orton with a chair shot and then Pedigree to get the win. Also, Orton appeared to have injured his foot during the match as a WWE trainer and referee had to help him walk back to the locker room.
