Cleveland All-Pro Wrestling on 11/5, MCW report with TNA stars + MXW
On Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at 2:14 PM EST Cleveland All-Pro Wrestling sent this in:
YOUNG LIONS OF CAPW ISSUE OPEN CHALLENGE TO FORMER CHAMPIONS
In what can only be described as a rather brazen move, the tag team of Tiger Young & The Aftermath have issued an open challenge to former CAPW Tag Team Champions JT Lightning & Chris Cronus, along with their advisor Krystal Frost. If you recall, it was Aftermath and Tiger Young who challenged for JT & Cronus’ tag team titles several weeks ago, only to narrowly lose, thanks in part as always, to both the physical involvement and distraction of Frost. Young & Aftermath were very interested observers earlier this month when Faith In Nothing dethroned JT & Cronus as tag champions, and it appears that the youngsters sense the time is now to re-challenge the former champions and get back in the immediate race for tag team title gold. How will the JT Lightning camp react to this news? Will they address the challenge here next week, or wait until November 5 at Turner’s Hall? We will provide updates if and when they become available.
FINAL CARD ANNOUNCED FOR NOVEMBER 5 EXTRAVAGANZA
Cleveland All-Pro Wrestling returns to Turner’s Hall, 7325 Guthrie, Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio, on Sunday afternoon, November 5, back at our regular 4 p.m. belltime. This WILL be a taping for CAPW TV on Sports Time Ohio, so be prepared to show your enthusiasm for CAPW and be seen in thousands of homes throughout the area.
Last week we revealed two more high-stakes contests set to take place Sunday afternoon November 5. After an extra week of deliberation, officials have announced the final matches to round out this tremendous card.
Conrad Kennedy III vs. Chris Kole
Both men are frequently among the top contenders to the CAPW Championship, and this match will go a long way in determining which of these two will have the upward momentum needed to gain an opportunity at CAPW champion Claudio Castagnoli. CK3 came up narrowly short just one month ago, but certainly impressed in the process. Kole has been in the main event in the past, and certainly is as driven as ever to return there as quickly as possible. While not an official number one contender’s match, this battle could prove the difference between title opportunities for several months to come.
The Bouncer vs. The Hawaiian Lion
We all know what The Bouncer brings to the table. Nearly 300 pounds of raw power and speed and agility rarely seen in an athlete his size. Bouncer is a mainstay in the area for several years, capturing championships and winning over fans on a regular basis. The Hawaiian Lion however, we’re not so knowledgable about. But no matter what the Lion brings to the table, he’ll definitely have his work cut out for him against the man from Klub Xtreme.
Plus in special bonus attractions to occur before the official belltime:
Da Munchies vs. Hobo Joe & Gregory Iron
Carlton Kaz & Super Oprah vs. Matt Justice & Action Dan Spade
Aftermath & Tiger Young vs. David Dynamite & Cerberus
MATCHES ALREADY ANNOUNCED FOR NOVEMBER 5 CARD
Chris Hero vs. Homicide
Another in the continuing like of dream match attractions presented by Cleveland All-Pro Wrestling. Hero makes his return to CAPW after a lengthy absence to go one-on-one with former NWA World Tag Team Champion “The Notorious 187" Homicide of the Latin American Xchange. Homicide is one of the most intimidated athletes in the business today, and also one of the most well-rounded, with the ability to wrestle, fly, or brawl at the drop of a hat. However, the current one-half of the ROH Tag Champs Chris Hero won’t be intimidated. Hero has almost single-handedly waged war against entire promotions as of late, and views Homicide as the latest mountain to climb. Hero vs. Homicide will be a match not soon forgotten, and it takes place Sunday November 5.
CAPW Heavyweight Title: Claudio Castagnoli vs. Nigel McGuiness
“Double C" continues to take on all-comers from around the world to establish himself as truly one of the greatest champions in CAPW history. His challenge this month comes from a man CAPW fans, and certainly Claudio himself, are no stranger to. The man who’s in it to win it, Nigel McGuiness attempts to capture Cleveland’s ultimate prize. This is far from the first time these two Europeans will meet, and surely won’t be the last. There’s a lot of competitive pride existing between these two men, and when the CAPW Title is at stake,
the competition between these two men will likely be on a level never seen before.
CAPW Jr. Heavyweight Title: Johnny Gargano vs. Zach Gowen
Johnny Gargano outlasted Gowen, M-Dogg 20, and Josh Prohibition in a four-way match to capture the vacant Jr. Title on October 8. Gargano now has what he’s spent several months craving…a major championship and a ton of spotlight directly on him and him alone. However, will Gargano able to keep that spotlight amidst the very worthy contenders clamoring for a championship opportunity. One such contender is the “One Legged Wonder" Zach Gowen. A man who’s spent his entire life defying the odds and proving people wrong, certainly doesn’t appreciate someone like Gargano thinking he’s better than him, or better than everyone else for that matter. Can Gowen humble the new Jr. Champ and continue his quest to defy the odds and make a major impact here in CAPW?
CAPW Television Title: Jason Bane vs. Chris Cage
Bane’s path of dominance continues. After outlasting over thirty men to win the TV Title, and defeating Rhino to retain it, Bane added former multi-time WCW Titleholder Buff Bagwell to his list of victims en route to another successful title defense. On November 5, Bane defends against a man making his CAPW debut in Chris Cage. Cage spent a lengthy period of time as one of the star attractions of Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) in Louisville, the developmental farm system to World Wrestling Entertainment, even capturing the OVW Title in the past. Now Cage, a native of Youngstown, invades CAPW to attempt to add another title to his resume, but can he survive the near paralyzing effects of a 300+ pound Baneline?
CAPW Tag Team Titles: Faith In Nothing vs. Irish Airborne
Christian Faith & Vincent Nothing shocked the world just under two weeks ago, when they accepted an open challenge from an ego-driven tag team championship duo of JT Lightning & Chris Cronus. Faith & Nothing steamrolled through the champions, who had already competed beforehand, en route to capturing the titles from the very team that defeated them to win the gold some weeks earlier. Faith & Nothing’s first defense comes against perhaps the most prolific team in the state of Ohio: Jake & Dave Crist, The Irish Airborne, a team that has made major waves in Ring of Honor as of late. Faith & Nothing are certainly in high risk of becoming shortest reigning tag champions in recent memory based on this first challenge.
M-Dogg 20 vs. Josh Prohibition
Two months ago these longstanding partners/rivals made their returns to CAPW in one-on-one competition against each other in a very competitive match, that unfortunately ended in a time limit draw. This past month, both M-Dogg and Josh competed against Johnny Gargano and Zach Gowen in a four-way match to declare a vacant Jr. Heavyweight Champion. The paths of these former partners crossed several times during that encounter, but once again nothing was settled. November 5 these two men collide once more in the hopes of settling the latest chapter of their longstanding competitive rivalry and perhaps determining the next top contender to the Jr. Title now held by Johnny Gargano.
Tickets for our spectacular are available at Turner’s Hall the day of the event, or at any of our fine ticket outlets listed below.

OFFICIAL MARYLAND CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING PRESS RELEASE
JOE DEF. DANIELS, SABIN WINS GOLD!!!
TEAM 3D GOES FOR THE GOLD & THE AMERICAN DREAM comes to MCW!!!
Maryland wrestling fans were treated to an outstanding match, that featured two world-class athletes. "The Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe def. "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels via submission, when Joe forced Daniels to tap out via Coquina Clutch. Joe remains undefeated in MCW, while this marks Daniels' first loss in MCW.
Christian York scored the big win, pinning MCW Heavyweight Champion Adam Flash during their high-stakes tag team match, securing a title shot, or so we thought. Flash, with partner Luke Hawx, had a gameplan to destroy Christian York, and eliminate him from title contention. However, York called the owner of the company, Corporal Punishment, to have his back and be his partner for the tag team match. Flash & Corporal battled throughout the arena, continuing their heated rivalry. Once York scored the pin, he thought that he had earned a title shot against Flash in the near future. However, Commissioner Jim Christian declared that stipulation null and void. The commish stated that York will have to find other means to secure a title shot, but he would offer a possible solution later this week. That announcement will be made on marylandwrestling.com.
Chris Sabin returned, and scored the pin on Ruckus to win the Cruiserweight Championship. This victory begins Sabin's 2nd reign as Cruiserweight Championship. Sabin had lost the title earlier this year at July's Shamrock Cup (won by Ruckus). Sabin will return to defend the title on November 10th in Harrington, Delaware, and his opponent will be announced later this week on marylandwrestling.com.
The Rehobeth Beach Crew (Tyler Hilton, Zachary Shane, & Link Kory "LK") made a successful debut, winning their 6-man tag. The RBC were still mainly focused on themselves, more than anything else, as they were filming their hit online reality series, The Real Rehobeth Beach, throughout the evening. Now, their focus shifts to November 10th, as the Crew is preparing for their huge homecoming party, in Delaware. What kind of celebration will it be? And will it go off without a hitch? Find out Nov. 10th in Harrington, DE.
MCW has one of the best tag team divisions in wrestling. Fans are already talking about TEAM 3D (formerly THE DUDLEY BOYZ) coming in and challenging Bruiser & Genesis for the MCW Tag Team Championship on November 10th in Harrington, DE. And this past Sunday night, fans witnessed the return of two tag teams to MCW. The Holy Rollers (Earl The Pearl & Ramblin Rich) returned, claiming that they found loopholes in the contract that will allow them to return to MCW. However, their return was interrupted by another returning team, The Ghetto Mafia. For weeks, 2-Dope has stated that he has found someone to carry out the original mission of the Ghetto Mafia, seek, destroy, and dominate. 2-Dope found that in Qenaan Creed. Dope & Creed attacked The Slackers, following their victory over Phat Blues, Inc. newcomers Buck Chyld & Doyle Day. Ironically, it would be The Holy Rollers who saved The Slackers from the beat down by the Mafia. Expect fireworks when all of these teams are in the same building on November 10th in Delaware.

MXW Pro Wrestling sent this in:
We've already announced three impressive matches for BRASS CITY BATTLE on November 12th at the Albanian Cultural Center in Waterbury, CT.
As previously mentioned: the main event is a GAIJIN TAG BATTLE featuring Zero1-MAX representatives "King of Old School" STEVE CORINO & JOSH DANIELS taking on NOAH tour participants LOW-KI & "Die Hard" EDDIE EDWARDS (in his last match before leaving for Japan and taking part in NOAH's Winter Navigation '06 tour).
In Non-Tournament action, SLYCK WAGNER BROWN goes one on one with "the Promise" ANTONIO THOMAS
In a First Round match-up, RICKY LANDELL battles "Straight-Edge" BRIAN FURY
It is our pleasure to add two matches to this line-up, and remind you that tickets are currently available online at www.MXWWrestling.com.
First, a match that needs no hype, no shilling, no hyperbole and no random acts of verbosity. You know what these 2 wrestlers have done, what they can do, and what they are capable of. But what will they do to each other when advancement in the MXW Championship Tournament is on the line????????
(Ranked Contender) RON ZOMBIE goes to war against (At-Large Bid)........
HOMICIDE!!!!!!!!
Also, a match that lives up to MXW's consitent and increasingly high in-ring standards. This one will be off the meter, as two of the top independent talents in the industry battle for supremacy and in the process, take the audience through a wrestling clinic. Whose style will prevail...who will dominate? Which man will conquer his opponent when KID MIKAZE takes on "Hurricane" JOHN WALTERS?
Those 5 matches, plus much more to be announced in the days to come as the First Round of the MXW Championship Tournament comes to a close and our November tour rolls through Waterbury on Sunday afternoon, November 12th. Please visit www.MXWWrestling.com to purchase tickets...ringside tickets are moving briskly and have been on sale since just Tuesday morning. Thanks as always for your support, and we look forward to seeing you all in Albany, Waterbury and New Haven in the month of November.
