It was announced late yesterday by TNA that they were moving their scheduled event in East Hartford, CT on Saturday to The Bloomfield Tennis Academy in Bloomfield, CT. The reason given for the change in venues was that a larger crowd was expected for the show this evening.

While that is somewhat correct, PWInsider.com is reporting today that a State Inspector decreed on Thursday afternoon that the original venue, the Face Off Arena, was not suitable to hold 800 fans for a pro wrestling event. According to reports, the inspector was following up on a phone call that issued concern over the location of the event. TNA officials were told they could appeal this decision, but the inspector was off on Friday for Veteran's Day and arguments wouldn't have been heard until Monday, two days after the actual event.

At one point, TNA officials were considering cancelling the event. However, UWF promoter Hermie Sadler, who licenses events for TNA and financially funds the House Shows, felt they could find another venue in time to make sure the event took place. Seeing as the event is TNA's debut in Connecticut, the home base for WWE, there were said to have been a few quote "raised eyebrows" and theories at TNA's event in Philadelphia last night about why the company ran into some troubles at the last minute, especially when a State Inspector was given a phone call and came to the venue on Thursday afternoon, giving TNA no time to appeal the decision.
