WWE says they had nothing to do with TNA event in Bloomfield & more
On Sunday, November 12, 2006 at 5:24 AM EST There was a report on 1wrestling.com last night stating that WWE could have been responsible for the cancellation of TNA's previously scheduled events in East Hartford, CT and Bloomfield, CT.
Bob Ryder, who handles travel and gorilla position duties for TNA, wrote the story on the website. Ryder was then sent an official e-mail statement from Gary Davis, WWE's Vice President of Corporate Communications:
"Please make clear to your readers that there is no truth to the assertion that WWE had anything to do with the cancellation of the TNA event in Bloomfield. I don't know why the event was cancelled, but, whatever the reason, it had nothing to do with us."
