ACW sent in the following report:
Results from ACW 'Redemption', 11th November 2006, Hitchin UK.
Main Event
*ACW Heavyweight Championship*
Loser Leaves Town Ladder Match
Samson (c) w/ 'The Internet Icon' Peter Staniforth defeated Bull Harley, with Samson regaining the ACW Heavyweight Championship for a fourth time. As a result of this, Bull Harley must retire from ACW. The match was a hard hitter, and after the result, Staniforth arrogantly proclaimed Bull Harley to be a 'loser', and to get 'the hell out of his ring'. Harley then attacked Peter's bodyguard Tommy Gunn, going so far as to stinkface him WITHOUT his underwear. Bull Harley then thanked the fans for their support, and warned Staniforth that somehow, someway, he would be back. Peter's last words? 'I may be standing here wearing a dress, but you're fired and that's all that matters to me!'.
*ACW Tag Team Championship*
The Players Club (c) defeated Matt Naylor & DOA. 'The Internet Icon' Peter Staniforth shocked the crowd by announcing former ACW Heavyweight Champion DOA as Matt Naylor's tag team partner. This ended up becoming what was essentially Hitchin vs Luton in the minds of the crowd, and hometown favourites Rich N' Famous and 'Diamond' Damon Kruiz (The Players Club) took the mostly popular victory, leaving Staniforth (wearing his Luton Town FC scarf as well as a dress!) screaming that it may have been their night but he and his team were 'still better than them, because they're from Luton'.
*ACW Lightheavyweight Championship*
Ashton Brown defeated Silver Mask (c). In a fast paced action filled bout, Ashton won via disqualification, therefore Silver Mask lost the match but retained the title once again.
*Number One Contenders Match*
Brendon O'Shea defeated Sam Steel. What many called one of the best matches of the evening, resulted in a win for Brendon O'Shea, and he will now go on to face Samson at 'Children In Need' on Friday 17th November.
*Loser Wears A Dress*
Tank defeated Tommy Gunn w/'The Internet Icon' Peter Staniforth. In the match that caused Staniforth and Gunn to have to appear in both the Tag Team and Heavyweight Championship matches in dresses, Tank took the extremely popular victory over the evil ACW Owner and his bodguard. This would leave Staniforth in a foul mood for the rest of the evening, but also...in a dress!!
In other matches on the card :
Brian Braddock & Jade defeated Frantastic & Mia
Humongous defeated Dave Sharp
Vyper defeated Lewis Cooper
