WWE to announce return to Iraq on Tuesday, AWA DVD cover, and PTI
On Thursday, November 16, 2006 at 7:46 PM EST As reported on yesterday, WWE will be holding a press conference this Tuesday at Madison Square Garden. We can now confirm the company will be announcing another "Tribute to the Troops" event that will be taped in Iraq to air on Christmas night in the US on the USA Network. Scheduled to be at the press conference is Vince McMahon, JBL, Lilian Garcia, Carlito, Torrie WIlson and Bobby Lashley.
The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the cover of WWE's new AWA DVD does not feature Verne Gagne on the cover, but rather Ric Flair, Sgt. Slaughter, Jerry Lawler, The Rockers, Hulk Hogan, Bobby Heenan, Curt Hennig and Mean Gene Okerlund.
