Hi, Fans. This is your Vice President of Talent Relations, Bodhi Lebowski, and dudes have we got some news for you !
It is with great pleasure that I announce the first three matches for The Era of AWESOMEness Begins on Jan. 6, 2007 at the Seaside Heights American Legion Post 351 at 1400 Bay Blvd. in Seaside Heights, NJ.

First as you can see at the top of this announcement, we are going to make wrestling history with the first ever Four Winds Of Destiny match. Now what is a Four Winds of Destiny match, you ask? Well here are the rules. The four competitors will draw numbers in the lockerroom the day of the show. The wrestlers who draw #1 and #2 start the match. At the 5-minute mark the wrestler who drew #3 will enter the ring. And then at the 10-minute mark the wrestler who drew #4 enters the ring, giving him a clear advantage over his opponents. The match is held under texas tornado elimination rules, and the last competitor remaining will be the winner. Ah, but what is that winner's Destiny? Well they will win a Totally AWESOME title. Now back in the days of the territories many promotions had a television champion. But it is the 21st Century and let's face it television is no longer the dominant form of media in this day and age. So our AWESOME Championship Committee has created a new title equivalent to the old television titles. They are keeping the exact name of this title hush-hush until the Jan. 6 show in Seaside Heights, but I can tell you this--It is a title that has never existed anywhere else in wrestling history. Groundbreaking matches and titles, hey that's just two more reasons why We Are AWESOME !!!!!!!
The competitors in the Four Winds of Destiny Match will all make fine champions if they can prevail. Great Cenernzio is a popular star with over a decade of experience in this sport. Accompanied by his valet Cammo, they are collectively known as the B-Team, and just like the A-Team of the 1980s if you call on them to get the job done, they usually prevail. Radical Robby Morrison brings a disdain for authority reminiscent of the 1960s into the ring with him. which causes headaches for the referees of his matches. He has competed extensively throughout the Northeast and has held numerous cruiserweight titles, and now seeks to step up in weightclass here in AWESOME. Seansational One, or S1 as he prefers the media to call him, is a big time playmaker currently competing out of Dallas, TX. Wherever he has wrestled in the past, controversy has always followed him from San Francisco to Philadelphia. Accompanied by his agent and publicist JADEN, S1 says if AWESOME gives him the ball he will become our franchise player. Steve Camacho has the least experience of the four competitors in this match when it comes to professional wrestling, but he may just be the most dangerous man on the roster. This friendly New York native is all business when it comes to hand to hand combat; with numerous black belts in the martial arts as well as being master of his own Dojo. One split second is all he needs with either his hands or feet to knock out any opponent and seize his Destiny!

But wait there's more, because also signed for the Jan. 6 show is a singles match between The Freak and Scotty "The Outpatient" Ice. This may be the most unusual match in recent memory. While Freak can usually find the ring only with the help of his handler Freya, and is known for his out-of-ring antics, he is still a skilled competitor that has held numerous cruiserweight titles in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Now he will bring his unorthodox style to the Jersey Shore for the very first time. And while 9 nights out of 10 Freak is by far the most unusual competitor on a show, on Jan. 6 he will have some competition to that claim in the form of Scotty Ice. After years "vacationing" in the Happy Time Sanitarium in Philadelphia, Scotty has finally graduated to Outpatient status and decided to pursue a love of professional wrestling. So fans sit back, get some popcorn, and just enjoy this one; because it may end up being the most entertaining match on the show!


Our third match that has been announced is the Opportunity of a Lifetime Battle Royal. Open to any wrestler that does not yet have an AWESOME contract. The winner of this battle royal will be granted a contract for a one-year guaranteed roster spot with AWESOME. If they are popular this means fans going to our shows will know to expect this wrestler on the roster every single month. But if they happen to be a rulebreaker they will have the security of knowing that no matter what heinous act they perform, they cannot be fired or suspended for one year because they have a guaranteed roster spot. Furthermore, the winner of this battle royal will also become the very first man toqualify for March 3rd's historic 8 man, three round, single elimination, title tournament to crown the first ever Champion of AWESOME! at American Legion Post 351, 1400 Bay Blvd., Seaside Heights, NJ
