Roddy Piper's 'Survivor Series' Match Replacement Announced; Details
On Monday, November 20, 2006 at 11:01 PM EST Tonight on Raw it was announced that Ron Simmons will take the place of the injured Roddy Piper in the Legends vs Spirit Squad match at this Sunday's Survivor Series Pay Per View.
Simmons will join Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, and SGT. Slaughter with Arn Anderson in their corner versus Kenny, Mikey, Nicky, and Johnny of the Spirit Squad with Mitch in their corner.
Piper had surgery last week to remove a mass in his spine. Doctors are currently waiting on results from a biopsy. Due to the injury Piper had to be removed from the match, we hope to have more on Piper's condition later in the week.
