  • IPW:UK’s Next Double Header Weekender – Swanley On December 9th, Colchester On December 10th!

» IPW:UK’s double-header weekenders are becoming legendary for double shots of fan involvement and wrestling action. With a double header in Ware and Orpington just a week ago, we move on to Swanley and Colchester on December 9th and 10th.

Back in October, IPW:UK returned to Swanley with a live steel cage match. This time around, there is no cage – it’s been replaced by a big bag of festive action!

The next day in Colchester, IPW:UK debut in an afternoon card (doors 1:30pm, show 2:00pm) at the Colchester Hippodrome. Alongside the evening’s first ever ‘Gorefest – European Deathmatch’ event, IPW:UK bring to the UK the legendary European tag team – Swiss Money Holding. One half (Ares) has just returned from a tour of NOAH. One half (Double C) has just signed a contract to head to the WWE. Both halves make a whole, and they’re in Colchester on December 10th!

Tickets are now on sale for you to be there live and in person, by heading over to: http://www.ipwuk.com/tickets/index.shtml. Ringside tickets are limited in stock for the Saturday night!

  • IPW:UK Show Dates Removed & Added!

» Our show this coming Sunday in Gloucester at the Liquid Nightclub has had to be cancelled. IPW:UK apologise for this cancellation, and take full responsibility – the evening show promoted by X:S-W will still go ahead, and should be an exciting night of action for all Gloucester fans.

We can however add to the IPW:UK calendar show dates of Sunday February 11th at the Swanley White Oak Leisure Centre, and Sunday February 18th at the Orpington Halls in Orpington. These shows, entitled “Battle One" and “Battle Two" will provide the perfect IPW:UK lead-in to the Final Frontiers event at the Broxbourne Civic Hall on March 16th 2007, as IPW:UK and the FWA put everything up on the line!

  • Tag Action – Maximum Head Out For Revenge On The Kartel!

» At the last IPW:UK Swanley event back in October, Maximum Head had just come off of a closely fought IPW:UK title match when they were blindsided by The Kartel, who had made a furious return to the IPW:UK ring earlier that night.

The Kartel (Sha Samuels/Terry Frazier) stated in an interview on the DVD release, that they were sick and tired of sitting at home watching ‘guys like Maximum Head’ get return bookings, when they were on the sidelines. Former #1 contenders, The Kartel decided to physically show their supposed dominance on Voltage and Head – after the young pairing had already wrestled for 15 minutes.

On December 9th both teams go head-to-head (no pun intended) for the first time, in a tag rankings bout that will have just that little bit more oomph to it.

  • Therefore the current card for “The Christmas Cracker" On Saturday December 9th 2006 is:

    IPW:UK Title Match
    - Andy Boy Simmonz (c) vs. ‘The Guvnor’ Martin Stone

    - The Kartel (Sha Samuels/Terry Frazier) vs. Maximum Head (Max Voltage/Dan Head)

    - Darkside vs. ‘Mr. IPW’ Ashley Reed (w/ Donna)

    - ‘The Human Hate Machine’ Dave Moralez vs. TBC

  • And the current card for “The Dome Show" on Sunday December 10th 2006 stands as:

    IPW:UK Tag Title Match
    - The Dragon Hearts (Spud & Dragon Phoenix) (c) vs. $wiss Money Holding (Double C & Ares)

    IPW:UK vs. The FWA
    - ‘The Man That Gravity Forgot’ Pac vs. ‘The Wonderkid’ Jonny Storm

    - Martin Stone vs. Darkside OR Reed

    Handicap Match
    - The Untouchables (Jack Storm/Dave Moralez) vs. Darkside OR Reed

    - ‘New Superstar’ Stevie Douglas vs. TBC
