» IPW:UK’s double-header weekenders are becoming legendary for double shots of fan involvement and wrestling action. With a double header in Ware and Orpington just a week ago, we move on to Swanley and Colchester on December 9th and 10th.
Back in October, IPW:UK returned to Swanley with a live steel cage match. This time around, there is no cage – it’s been replaced by a big bag of festive action!
The next day in Colchester, IPW:UK debut in an afternoon card (doors 1:30pm, show 2:00pm) at the Colchester Hippodrome. Alongside the evening’s first ever ‘Gorefest – European Deathmatch’ event, IPW:UK bring to the UK the legendary European tag team – Swiss Money Holding. One half (Ares) has just returned from a tour of NOAH. One half (Double C) has just signed a contract to head to the WWE. Both halves make a whole, and they’re in Colchester on December 10th!
Tickets are now on sale for you to be there live and in person, by heading over to: http://www.ipwuk.com/tickets/index.shtml. Ringside tickets are limited in stock for the Saturday night!

» In injury updates from the past few weeks, Paul Robinson feels like he is recovering well, and wants to return to action on December 9th or 10th. We will talk to Paul over the coming weekend and decide if he is going to be fit for Swanley and/or Colchester.
A bit or worse injury news however, is the news that Spud will be taking the rest of the year off, after finishing up his commitment to SAS wrestling this Sunday. The SAS show, just down the road from his house, has been locally promoted around the young Brummie, and even with a separated shoulder, will work against Doctor’s orders.
This means, however, that Spud will be unavailable for Saturday and Sunday week. The big tag title match against Swiss Money Holding will still go ahead as planned, however, and Spud has hand picked a popular replacement – the debuting BUBBLEGUM! Bubblegum is a wrestler that a lot of northern fans will be very familiar with, as will those IPW:UK fans who made the journey to Ware a few weeks ago.
» As a result of one of the injuries noted the other week, that of Kris Linnell, ‘The Human Hate Machine’ Dave Moralez was left without an opponent for the Christmas Cracker.
As of last night, IPW:UK officials were running an online poll to decide who should face the Hate Machine, before a phone call was received by RQW star JP Monroe. Monroe, who made his IPW:UK debut in July, hasn’t been back since losing to Little Dragon in singles action in Essex, but has requested a second chance to show off his skills, against the mighty meaty Moralez.
As an equal opportunities employer, IPW:UK readily agreed, and that bout has been set for Swanley on December 9th.
» Since ‘manager style’ didn’t seem to go too well last time out in Orpington, JC Thunder had been sitting at home formulating new plans to ensure that the Streak started.
Of all of the many ideas for potential styles to try next, one seemed to just fit the best, and made him realise why Manager style didn’t work as well as he had planned – because although Blok Busta was indeed a suitable wrestler to represent, it was clear that the only reason the match was lost was simply because one man wasn’t wrestling… HIM!
And so, it was with that, that JC Thunder got on the phone to The Dragon Hearts (separately, obviously) and suggested that since Bubblegum was going to be subbing for Spud in Colchester on December 10th, surely it would be best for them to have a warm-up title defence the night before, against he himself, JC Thunder, and his new protégé, a wrestler after his own heart, Blok Busta.
And The Dragon Hearts agreed!
