There have been some reports making the rounds recently about Sabu's status with WWE. According to new reports, he is said to be in very hot water with the company. This is one of the reasons why he was squashed by Umaga on Monday Night Raw two weeks ago before the Survivor Series PPV, although some have stated it was another way for Umaga to go over as a legit challenger to John Cena and not a "statement" to Sabu. Sabu has been noticeably disinterested at recent TV tapings for ECW and WWE officials have taken notice. Says one WWE source, "(Management) has said Sabu is useless in a regular match and can only do a match with stunts and tables and they don't respect him because of that."

Current ECW Champion Big Show is scheduled to take time off very soon and could be doing so after the December to Dismember PPV this Sunday. New reports have stated that Big Show has already turned down a long-term contract extension with WWE. The company does have interest in using him at WrestleMania 23 in April, with some rumors of a Big Show vs. Hulk Hogan match to recreate Hogan vs. Andre The Giant. It is no secret that Big Show is in very poor shape at the moment and this hasn't gone unnoticed in WWE. Says one source, "I like Big Show, but his problems are because he's lazy, not anything else. He won't diet, he'll want some magic pill or radical surgery to lose the weight he needs to lose."
