Jeremy Samples sent this in: Ric Flair's son, David Flair, officially retired from wrestling on December 2, 2006 at Brushfork Armory in Bluefield, WV. He lost his last match against Joey Morton on Superstar Wrestling Federation's Holiday Havoc '06 show. There is a short YouTube video of part his retirement speech here: click here. Thought it was interesting and it was a great match.

Ryan sent this in: Hey just wanted to pass on that Christian Cage defeated Lance Storm at the Blood Sweat and Ears promotion on December 3rd. Lance Storm took a 2nd Umprettier after the match from Cage.

Due to the breakup of the Mack Brothers just two days ago at the AWA Convention, WORLD-1 Officials were thrown a curveball but have come up with three solutions for WORLD-1’s Rebirth Or Destruction on Sunday, January 7 at Academy Hall in Pottstown, PA:
1. Instead of canceling Kirby and TJ Mack off Rebirth Or Destruction, WORLD-1 has signed Kirby Mack vs. TJ Mack w/Thomas Simpson and it will be the for the AWA World Lightheavyweight championship! This will be the first time that brothers face each other in Pottstown!
2. PWF Universal tag team champions King Kaluha and Sweet ‘n’ Sour Larry Sweeney will now defend the titles against former WWF Superstar The Patriot and former AWA/ECW/NWA World champion Steve Corino!
3. WORLD-1 has signed APW Universal champion Kafu to appear and take The Patriot’s tournament spot against Reggie Marley!

WORLD-1 & the MAJIC Foundation Join Forces
Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 is very happy to announce that they have joined forces with the Morgan J. Arthur Jr. Memorial Fund to help raise money with this wonderful cause.
MAJIC stands for the Morgan Arthur Jr. Inspiration Center. In the spring of 2004, the lifestyle of 28-year-old Morgan J. Arthur Jr. was suddenly cut short by a rare disease. Morgan had been a long time advocate of physical fitness for youth and served as an outstanding role model for many YMCA children. As a teenager, Morgan Jr. helped his father establish the martial arts program at the Audubon (PA) Branch YMCA where he taught karate to hundreds of children. Family and friends of Morgan Jr. have established a memorial fund to contribute Morgan’s passion for promoting youth fitness and health.
The Morgan J. Arthur Jr. Memorial Fund has been created to develop Youth Strength Training Centers in all branches of the Phoenixville (PA) Area YMCA.
The Youth Strength Training Centers will provide a place where youth can improve their health and well being in a fun, supervised environment. Each center will be outfitted with appropriately proportioned, easy-to-use strength training equipment and cardiovascular machines such as elliptical trainers, stairmasters, stationary bikes and rowers.
Childhood obesity levels are rising at an alarming rate. Teens are exercising less and weighing more. By contributing to the Morgan J. Arthur Jr. Memorial Fund you will help the YMCA provide a positive solution to improving the health of children in our community.
With proper education, equipment, and motivation, the YMCA can help young people develop healthy, active lifestyles that will last a lifetime. Please consider giving to this fund to ensure that we all do our part to help future generations live healthy and well. Your tax-donation of any amount is welcome. A percent of all WORLD-1 sponsorships and ticket sales go to the MAJIC Fund!
