» Reported by Adam Martin of WrestleView.com

PWInsider is reporting that MTV will begin airing episodes of the new "Wrestling Society X" promotion starting on Tuesday, January 30 at 10:30pm ET/9:30pm CT. While this is the confirmed start date as of now, it is possible MTV could change this at any time. It is interesting to note that the show will be going head-to-head with ECW on Sci Fi.

According to reports, MTV has agreed to air ten episodes of the project that will see a combination of wrestling with live music performances by bands such as The Deftones, Good Charlotte, New Found Glory and many others. Big Vision Entertainment has been handling the wrestling part of the project, with former XPW official Kevin Klinerock handling duties as head writer along with Vampiro and Cody Michaels.

Talent used for WSX includes: Vampiro, Sean Waltman, Ruckus, Jack Evans, Matt Sydal, Lizzy Valentine, Teddy Hart, The Human Tornado, Masato Yoshino & Genki Horiguch (Dragon's Gate stars), Colt Cabana, Jimmy Jacobs, Ricky Banderas, Aaron Aguilera (formerly Jesus in WWE), B-Boy and many others. Tapings for WSX took place last month in Los Angeles, CA.
