WWE Smackdown Brand House Show Results - 12/6/06
Location: Madrid, Spain

Jose A. Vazquez sent in the following report:

Smackdown GM Teddy Long came out and after a brief introduction, told us that King Booker won't be at the show tonight (crowd booed) afterwards, he announced that in replacement he had something so good that we won't even think bout King Booker, then proceeded to announce the main event as a triple threat for the title that would pit Batista against Finlay and... Big Show!!! Here the crowd went absolutely nuts.

Vito defeated Tatanka

- Lots of heat for Tatanka; Vito was way over with the crowd, very entertaining match with lots of funny spots; definitely a good opening for the show.

Gregory Helms defeated Flash Funk

- Flash Funk looked horribly out of shape, with a good moonsault as his only remarkable spot during the contest; Gregory Helms was as electric as always, with an impressive performance.

Paul London & Brian Kendrick def William Regal & Dave Taylor (WWE Tag Team Title Match)

- Probably the best match of the night, and definitely the most thrilling: lots of near falls, hot tags and high flying moves on the part of London and Kendrick. Regal is as great as a heel as always.

Layla defeated Jillian (Funaki as special referee)

- Short match that no one seemed to care about... Layla won with a rollup after Jillian confronted Funaki, who seemed bedazzled after having seen himself involved in a catfight with the two divas.

Kane defeated Mr Kennedy and MVP in a handicap match.

- Kane got the 2nd biggest pop of the night. Funny promo by Mr. Kennedy drawing heat during his speech to the crowd.

Jimmy Yang Wang defeated Sylvain.

- Sylvain got cheap heat after adressing to the crowd in french. Pretty decent match that ended with Sylvain attacking Jimmy Yang after having lost; all of a sudden the lights turned red and the Boogeyman music started playing; out of nowhere came the Boogeyman, who hit a derailer on Sylvain and threw worms on him.

Chris Benoit defeated Chavo Guerrero (United States Championship Match)

- Biggest heat of the night was for Chavo, who got lots of "Eddie" and "Mysterio" chants; good old school wrestling match that saw lots of technical moves and reversals; Benoit won after locking on the sharpshooter.

Batista defeated Big Show and Finlay (Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship)

- Batista got by far the biggest pop of the night, with the whole arena chanting his name. Good match, not as solid as it could have been but with good power moves form Batista and Big Show. Match ended after Batista hit a thunderous spinebuster on Big Show.

After the match, Batista celebrated with the crowd for 25 minutes, when he got a flag of Spain thrown at him he placed it on his shoulders alongside the title belt, and continued celebrating with the crowd, who cheered loudly this gesture.

Biggest pops of the night:

- Batista
- Kane
- Chris Benoit
- London & Kendrick
- Vito

Most Heat:

- Chavo Guerrero
- Mr Kennedy
- William Regal & Dave Taylor
- Sylvain
- Tatanka
