PWInsider is reporting that with Paul Heyman's departure from World Wrestling Entertainment this week, David Lagana will now take over as head writer for the ECW brand.
There is always a chance WWE could move Lagana from writing for the ECW brand, but that is who they will stick with for the time being. Lagana, who was formerly the head of Smackdown's creative team, was moved to the ECW brand in a decision that many believed was done incase Heyman left the new ECW project.
