Michael Avery/Dusty Adonis:
(Avery wins via DQ after Adonis is caught with brass knucles used on Avery)
This is one of the hottest feuds going right now. Both men play to the crowd so much and are very entertaining in the ring. With both of those facts taken into consideration this made for a great match. Good way to start off the night, and I'm looking forward to seeing where this feud goes. By the way, has anyone else noticed how over Avery has been over the last couple of weeks? in the words of Farooq "DAMN!"

"Hahatma Dandhi" vs T-Bone:
(Dandhi wins via pin-count)
I don't really have too much to say about this one. I've only seen T-bone maybe twice, and Dandy I think was just thrown into this one as a filler. Regardless, Dandy seemed to have a lot of heat with the crowd.

Nattie Neidhart vs Nikki Matthews:
(Nattie wins after Nikki taps out to the Sharpshooter)
This was a good one. It was the typical out-of-town heel vs the home-town face. (unless your viewing the match through the eyes of someone dubbed "The most hated fan in SW". From my perspective anyway, I think the crowd was just as in to this match as we were any other. Good match overall.

T.J Wilson Vs Evan Adams:
(T.J. wins via pincount)
This match was a 5 star classic in my opinion. If this truly was TJ's last match in Stampede, what a good way to go out! Both these guys looked like they were working their *** off and the match had some awesome spots. Great finish, overall very solid match.

Brandon Van Danielson vs Chuckythe BoyWonder:
(Brandon wins Young Lions Cup after interference by Ravenous Randy)
Great build to a great feud. Great matches every time they step foot in the ring together. No wonder Chucky is the most over guy in the promotion right now. Nothing else really needs to be said. Both these kids are stars.

Apocalypse/Juggernaut vs Ravenous Randy/Chris Steele:
(Hardcore gore match: Apocalypse and Juggernaut win. Afterwards, Apocalypse attacks Juggernaut and puts him through a table)
That match ruled! (*clap*clap**Clap clap clap*) Honestly, what An AWESOME match. Brutal, bloody, violent = everything you want in a good hardcore match. This was WAY better than I expected it to be (with the commission being so hard-*** about everything).

All matches will be available on StampedeWrestlingTV.com in the coming weeks.

Overall I give the show an 8/10. Not a bad match on the card. Great way to end 2006.

MAJOR FALLOUT FROM LAST SUNDAY’S “SEASON"S BEATINGS" LIVE EVENT

Last Sunday afternoon, December 3, will no doubt go down, as one of the most chaotic and eventful nights in CAPW history. With so many newfound developments, unanswered questions, and hot rumors swirling throughout the CAPW offices since the event, we have to touch on several on-going developments right off the bat this week.

KRYSTAL FROST BEGINNING TALENT ACQUISITION SEARCH

Sources close to us have confirmed that Krystal Frost, personal advisor to JT Lightning, is involved in what one source referred to as a “manhunt" in an attempt to expand her current stable of wrestlers. Frost has always been known to keep a close eye on the entire roster of CAPW from top to bottom, and apparently now feels the time is right to expand her clientele. Frost was reportedly seen acting “suspiciously" following our live event last Sunday, and according to one source, made her way into a private dressing room, locking the door behind her. Exactly who was on the other side of that door and what took place is still very much a mystery but we will stay on top of this situation over the next several weeks.

SMOTHERS WINS TITLE, BUT ROAD DOESN’T GET EASIER

The biggest story to come out of Sunday was the crowning of The Wild Eyed Southern Boy, and one of the most despised men ever in Cleveland, Tracy Smothers, as NEW CAPW Heavyweight Champion, pinning previous champion Claudio Castagnoli. The self-proclaimed England native Smothers, picked up right where he left off during his last CAPW stint, berating and threatening all around him. However now, Smothers can back up his claims, as he holds his head high as the best wrestler currently in Cleveland.

However, Tracy has little time to celebrate, as his first challenger, and opponent for our next live event, Sunday afternoon, January 14 at the NEW start time of 3 p.m. has been decided, and its someone Tracy knows very well.

CAPW Heavyweight Title Match: Tracy Smothers vs. Bane
Tracy Smothers may have been the one to pin Claudio Castagnoli to win the CAPW Title on December 3rd, but it was Jason Bane’s devastating Baneline that knocked Claudio out cold. After Bane did the dirty work, the veteran Smothers picked his spot and stole the victory and the title that Bane wanted to re-unify with his Television Title for a historic second time. This time, they’ll be no place for Tracy to hide, as he has to collide with a 6’8" 300+ pounder one-on-one. Can the Wild Eyed Southern Boy survive Jason Bane one more time, or will CAPW’s top two championships be dominated by one mountain of a man?

GOWEN AVENGES LOSS TO GARGANO

This past November, the “One Legged Wonder" Zach Gowen was robbed of the CAPW Jr. Heavyweight Championship, after champion Johnny Gargano defeated Gowen thanks in large part to the blatant interference of Gargano’s newfound partner-in-convenience Josh Prohibition. However, it was clear Gargano and Prohibition’s plans of joining forces to eliminate their enemies would not be as successful as they had thought, as Gowen, as well as M-Dogg 20, joined forces to finally meet their foes as part of a six-man tag. With the odds evened, the Tenacious One finally had a chance to prove himself, and prove himself he did. Gowen won the match for his team, by pinning the Jr. Champion with his patented moonsault. Gowen gained a measure of revenge on Gargano and solidified himself as the uncrowned CAPW Jr. Heavyweight Champion. When and if Gowen receives the much-deserved rematch for the title, is however still very much in question.

KOLE vs. CK3 GETS PERSONAL

Conrad Kenndy III came into Turner’s Hall on a mission this past Sunday: To avenge what “Killer" Chris Kole did to CK3’s neck the month prior, when Conrad spent the night in a local hospital due to a neck injury suffered at the hands of one of Kole’s lethal suplexes. Conrad showed he was not interested in winning his rematch with Kole this past weekend, but rather intentionally injuring Kole as badly as Kole had accidentally injured him. Kole’s nose was busted, if not broken, early on by CK3, which unfortunately paled in comparison to what was to come. Using the steel guardrail, as well as a pair of steel chairs, Conrad continued the assault, violently busing open Kole’s forehead as well. The match was thrown out, and immediate medical attention was given to Kole, however the Killer did not stay down for long. Kole is already petitioning CAPW management for a rematch with CK3, however due to Kole’s current state of health, officials are hesitant. More on this story in the coming weeks.

MYSTERIOUS WOMAN LEADS TO AFTERMATH WIN

During his match with The Aftermath, JT Lightning & advisor Krystal Frost seemed especially disrespectful toward a particular female fan in the ront row, even moreso than the duo are known to be. Everyone in the building was shocked however, when the verbal jabbing escalated to Frost shoving the woman down, and the woman jumping the rail and attacking Frost. The incident led to Lightning becoming distracted, and the youngster Aftermath picking up what many call an upset win, but there’s clearly more to the story than meets the eye. As security attempted to escort the woman outside the building, Aftermath led her away by his side. Who is this woman and what association does she have in this situation? We hope to find out in the near future.
