Samoa Joe tweaks knee at TV tapings last night, next TV tapings & more

According to reports, Samoa Joe tweaked his knee at the TNA TV tapings last night in Orlando, FL at Universal Studios. Joe injured his knee during the second TV taping that will air on December 21. There remains no word at this time as to how serious the injury was. Joe was looked at by TNA's medical staff in the ring following the match he took part in. Joe continues to battle sciatic issues in his back and has been given lots of credit for continuing to work at the level he has despite the injuries.

As noted earlier, TNA will return to Orlando, FL next Monday to tape three weeks worth of TV for Spike TV before the holidays. We are expected to have a better idea of how the card for the Final Resolution PPV on January 14 will look following those tapings.

Dory Funk Jr. was in attendance at TNA's TV tapings last night in Orlando. Funk was joined by a number of his wrestling students as well.
