Armageddon Press Conference - Finlay slaps Mathews, & fans fed lines |

An incident took place at the WWE Armageddon press conference yesterday when host Josh Mathews introduced Finlay. During the segment (which takes place at the 18 minute mark), Finlay slaps Mathews with a lot of force.
While at the time it appeared to be "part of the show", reports from fans on PWInsider who attended the press conference stated that Mathews looked surprised after the slap and as one person described quote "visibly pissed." Another report also stated that Kane, who was sitting by Mathews when the slap took place, mouthed the words, "Are you alright?" to which Mathews nodded.
Again, it is very possible this could have been planned out from the start and simply "part of the show" to help put over Finlay as a monster heel. It should also be noted that WWE officials were spotted feeding lines to fans at the press conference when they were interviewed about the upcoming Armageddon pay per view this Sunday. An example of this was when one fan stated he was there to see King Booker, but a WWE interviewer mouthed "and Cena" to the fan so he could finish.
The press conference can still be viewed at this link.
