Another update on Samoa Joe injury; second degree sprain of MCL, more
On Thursday, December 14, 2006 at 11:26 PM EST The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Samoa Joe was diagnosed yesterday with a severe second degree sprain of the MCL in a second examination. The injury is believed to have taken place after he took a bump over the top rope in a match that will air next week on iMPACT! (December 21).
There remains no word on if he will be working the TNA/UWF events this Friday and Saturday. Joe is scheduled to be at the TV tapings this coming Monday in Orlando to help build towards the Final Resolution PPV. As of now, he isn't expected to wrestle at the TNA/UWF events as the earliest he was expected to get back into the ring was for Ring of Honor on December 22 and 23.
