IPW in Muncie, IN report (Trish Stratus appears), CAPW news, + WCWA
On Saturday, December 16, 2006 at 6:24 PM EST Blackjack Parsons of ipw-wrestling.com sent in this report:
IPW in Muncie, IN on Friday:
Syndrome b Harley Steel, Psycho Cop b Chip Heartbreaker, Quicksilver b Kid Italy, C.R. Rage b Jimmy Jay Saylors, "Pitbull" Rodney Fultz won a 12-man blind fold battle royal, Pastor Pain b "Pitbull" Rodney Fultz, Atlas & AC Knight b Team PRM, Mr. Smiley b Doctor Love in a casket match.
Trish Stratus served as the special guest "enforcer". She was orginally scheduled to referee, but was still on duty as a Muncie Police officer, and couldn't take off her gun belt. She did get involved by punching Love's manager, Justin Tyme, which sent him into the casket.

TWO BLOCKBUSTER MATCHES ANNOUNCED FOR JANUARY 14!
Cleveland All-Pro Wrestling returns to the famed Turner’s Hall, 7325 Guthrie Avenue, on Sunday afternoon January 14 with a brand new start-time of 3pm, with doors opening at 2pm. Last week, we confirmed the main event, and now we can add two blockbuster bouts to the card.
CAPW Junior Heavyweight Title Match: Johnny Gargano vs. Azrieal
The deep roster of Jr. Heavyweight Title contenders to Johnny Gargano keeps on growing. In addition to top challengers like M-Dogg 20 and Zach Gowen still on the horizon, another major independent name has put their name into the hat of contention. Azrieal, the east coast standout who originally gained fame as Angel Dust of Special K in Ring of Honor, has in recent years abandoned the raver image en route to becoming a more serious well-rounded contender. It seems CAPW management has taken notice, as his reputation has warranted him not only a CAPW debut, but an opportunity at the Jr. Heavyweight Title as well.
Irish Airborn vs. Q&A - 2 out of 3 Falls
Jake & Dave Crist, collectively known as Irish Airborn, have made a major mark on the tag team scene in recent months. The Crists have brought high-risk and high-impact to a tag division quickly gaining a reputation of being just that. Virus & Unknown, collectively known as Q&A, are still on the comeback trail following Virus’ months-long subbatical due to reconstructive shoulder surgery. Both teams had a breathtaking & evenly-matched contest at “Season’s Beatings", so much so, CAPW management could not determine a clear cut top contender to tag champions Faith in Nothing. Therefore, a rematch was ordered for January 14, and this time it’ll be 2/3 Falls. There will be no chance of fluke victories here, as someone will have to soundly defeat their opposition TWICE to move up in the rankings. Rumors has it Tag Champions Christian Faith & Vincent Nothing have been keeping an extremely close eye on both of these potential challengers, and are already preparing themselves for battle against whomever may emerge victorious. One thing we can count on is this contenders’ match will not be one soon forgotten.
This in addition to the already announced main event…
CAPW Heavyweight Title Match: Tracy Smothers vs. Bane
Tracy Smothers may have been the one to pin Claudio Castagnoli to win the CAPW Title on December 3rd, but it was Jason Bane’s devastating Baneline that knocked Claudio out cold. After Bane did the dirty work, the veteran Smothers picked his spot and stole the victory and the title that Bane wanted to re-unify with his Television Title for a historic second time. This time, they’ll be no place for Tracy to hide, as he has to collide with a 6’8" 300+ pounder one-on-one. Can the Wild Eyed Southern Boy survive Jason Bane one more time, or will CAPW’s top two championships be dominated by one mountain of a man?

UPDATES ON TWO DEVELOPING STORIES
Last week we told you of Krystal Frost’s plan to make a major addition to her stable. In addition to serving as personal advisor to JT Lightning and his frequent tag partner Chris Cronus, sources say Frost can be linked to several other members of the CAPW roster…past and present. While no one can confirm whether or not any deals have been reached, it’s clear Frost is scouring up and down the roster searching for the perfect athlete to offer her unique services to. While Frost has been extremely secretive about her recent business dealings, one sources was able to overhear part of a recent phone conversation. When the source inched closer to Ms. Frost, he noticed her writing something down on a piece of paper. A date…time…and hotel room number. It seems Ms. Frost has a, shall we say, business meeting in the works this weekend. We hope to have more details next week.
We also made note of Chris Kole’s emphatic demands to management over a rematch with Conrad Kennedy III, following CK3’s savage bloody attack of Kole at Season’s Beatings. Despite a severly busted and possibly broken nose, as well as a deep laceration on his forehead, Kole is determined to face CK3 January 14 and NOT miss any ringtime. Management are currently weighing the request of Kole, which includes a potentially violent provision attached, and have told us they will reach their final decision regarding whether or not this match will take place, in time to print next week.
