WWE.com is reporting that Joey Mercury will most likely need at least plastic surgery after being hit in the face by a ladder in Sunday's exciting ladder match. Mercury was busted open on his nose and was bleeding profusely in what WWE.com is saying is a broken nose and his eye was swollen shut.

At this time Mercury is at the hospital where he is undergoing a CATscan to determine if he has any brain injuries after being hit in the head with the ladder. It doesnt look likely at this time that he has any brain damage as he was lucid and aware backstage.

If Mercury does not have any brain injuries he will likely need plastic surgery on his face to fix his nose, and the multiple contusions on his face which would at this time take him out around 2 or 3 months.

We will continue to follow this story and have more on it when it becomes available.
