New photo of Joey Mercury's injuries, MVP 'injury' a work + Dark Match
» Reported by Adam Martin of WrestleView.com

WWE.com has added a new article and photo regarding the injuries Joey Mercury had to his nose and left eye at the Armageddon PPV last night at this link. As of now, it is believed Mercury will be out of action for at least two months.

On a side note, although WWE.com passed it off as legit, the announced "first degree burns" MVP suffered after his Inferno Match with Kane at Armageddon was indeed a work. The only other injury to report on from Armageddon besides Mercury was that Brian Kendrick's ribs were hurting after a botched spot off a ladder.

PWInsider reports that Oleg Prudius defeated Scotty 2 Hotty in a Dark Match before the Armageddon PPV last night in Richmond, VA.
