Kenny's new ring name, more on Paul Heyman & AWA, Michelle McCool
On Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at 3:25 PM EST Ken Doane went with the new ring name Kenny Dykstra because his sports idol is baseball player Lenny Dykstra.
World Wrestling Entertainment sent Dale Gagner and his AWA wrestling promotion a legal notice to remove Paul Heyman from their website since he is still under contract with WWE. The website, located at AWAstars.com, posted the legal notice sent to them by WWE and have kept a graphic up of Heyman with the words "WWE PUTS AWA ON NOTICE!" In the meantime, Paul Heyman himself has denied even speaking with the group.
Michelle McCool is still recovering at her home as a result of kidney and sternum problems that led to her being hospitalized in November. McCool is still unable to lift weights or do any type of strenous exercise. She is expected to return for WWE and the Smackdown brand in the first quarter of 2007 at the very earliest.
