12/25 WWE 'Tribute to the Troops' rating from Iraq airing on Christmas
On Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at 9:59 PM EST The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the 12/25 Christmas night edition of WWE Tribute to the Troops drew a final 2.8 cable rating. While that is way below the usual number for WWE in that timeslot, Christmas night is never a good night for TV ratings and Tribute to the Troops has never been a huge ratings draw for the company. Despite that, the simple fact that WWE has continued to do it every year shows that doing it is not about the ratings for one week.
