MCW HOLIDAY HOMECOMING ULTIMATE PREVIEW

THE REUNION: RAVEN w/ CHASTITY
After 7 years, Raven reunites with Chastity on December 28th at Holiday Homecoming. Chastity, who made her return to MCW several months ago, will appear with Raven on December 28th at MCW Holiday Homecoming.

Raven, a former ECW & NWA World Heavyweight Champion, former ECW World Tag Team Champion, a record-setting 27-time WWE Hardcore Champion, and former MEWF Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion, first appeared with Chastity in ECW, when Chastity joined Raven's Nest, after leaving the Blue World Order. In late 1998, the two would appear together again in World Championship Wrestling.

But what is Chastity's motive for bringing Raven to MCW?

MAIN EVENT PREVIEW
MCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
NO TIME LIMIT - NO COUNTOUT - NO DISQUALIFICATION
ADAM FLASH (champion) vs. CHRISTIAN YORK

For many years, Christian York has wanted to become the MCW Heavyweight Champion, a goal that everyone in MCW hopes to achieve. In previous years, York has won the Cruiserweight Championship twice, the Tag Team Championship twice, and the Shane Shamrock Memorial Cup twice. But the MCW Heavyweight Championship is the one thing that York has coveted the most, since he started in MCW over 7 years ago. However, there is one man blocking his path to the title. That man is the reigning, 3-time MCW Heavyweight Champion, Adam Flash.

The past July, at Shamrock Cup VI, Flash, thanks to a loophole in the challenge, defeated Julio Dinero, to win the Heavyweight Title for a third time. Adam Flash has always wanted to use the Shamrock Cup as his platform to make a statement, and usually a negative one. For Christian York, he remembers the Shamrock Cup as not only a day of remembrance for a friend, but as a chance to make an impact and shine at the right moment. And York has shined, winning the Cup in 1999 and 2003. York made his return to MCW this year at the Shamrock Cup, telling everyone there, why the event is so important. York, once again shined in the spotlight, much to the chagrin of Adam Flash, who believed that he should receive top billing and celebration for winning the MCW Championship.

The return of Christian York is one of the biggest stories in MCW in 2006. The reigning champion knows this, and has done everything in his power to ensure that he never had to face him. York began to focus on Flash and his championship at Red, White, Black, & Bruised, when he made the save for Corporal Punishment, following Corporal's loss to Flash in the Fans Bring The Weapons Match this past July. York would go on to pin the champion in a tag team match at MCW Monster Mash in October, as York & Corporal def. Flash & Luke Hawx. Usually, when a champion is pinned in a non-title affair, that man receives a title shot. And that was the deal going into the match. However, Flash denied York the opportunity to challenge him for the title, using Commissioner Jim Christian to issue the edict that York would have to find another way to get a shot at the title.

Flash found himself on the opposite side of the ring from Christian York once again, this past November in Hampstead, MD. During the 6-man tag team war that featured Christian York & Team 3D vs. Adam Flash & The Ghetto Mafia, York pinned Flash for the second time in two meetings. MCW has now ordered the champion to defend the title against York, and has ordered that Flash must fight under these rules: no-time limit, no-countout, and no-disqualification.

With those rules, one would believe that the Champion might have a huge advantage going into the match on the 28th, with no rules to govern him. However, the challenger believes that these rules are perfect for him, as there will be no excuses, no chances for the champion to run away and get counted out, or get himself intentionally disqualified.

"Third time's the charm," or is it? Can Christian York defeat Adam Flash for the third straight time, and finally claim the MCW Heavyweight Championship? Or will reigning Champion have the ultimate plan to finally rid himself of his number-one challenger?

MCW CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
ALEX SHELLEY (champion) vs. RUCKUS

Two of the greatest cruiserweights in MCW history, will battle on December 28th. But only one will walk out as the MCW Cruiserweight Champion.

MCW has always made the Cruiserweight Championship, one of the focal points of MCW. Previous champions include Adam Flash, Christian York, Joey Matthews, Mikey Whipwreck, Chad Bowman, Qenaan Creed, The Amazing Red, 2-Dope, Derek Frazier, Chris Sabin, and Reckless Youth (Tom Carter). Cruiserweights also take center stage during the annual Shane Shamrock Memorial Cup. And in 2003, and 2006, the Cruiserweight title was decided during the Shamrock finale.

When MCW returned earlier this year, the first match of the new era featured the first championship to be resurrected, the MCW Cruiserweight Championship. In that four-way, Derek Frazier defeated Ruckus, Qenaan Creed, & Andrew Ryker to claim the gold. Frazier would go on to successfully defend the title over Ruckus & Qenaan Creed over the next several months. In May, Derek Frazier would lose the title to Chris Sabin, who would lose the title during the Shamrock Cup VI Finale, with eventual winner, Ruckus, becoming the new champion.

Ruckus would hold on to the title until October, when Chris Sabin regained the title at MCW Monster Mash. But before Ruckus could get a rematch, Sabin would lose the title to current champion Alex Shelley. Now, the man with "talent on loan from God" must deal with one of the most popular stars in MCW today. Ruckus wants the Cruiserweight title back. Shelley will do everything to keep it.

Something's gotta give, as these superstars will battle, in what could be the greatest Cruiserweight Title match in MCW history.

MCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
BRUISER & GENESIS (champions) vs. KELLY BELL & BUZZ STRYKER

TOTAL DOMINATION! That's the motto for the reigning MCW Tag Team Champions, Bruiser & Genesis. Even prior to winning the tag titles in September, the champs have shown the other team sin MCW, that they are the elite team, and that no one can beat them.

Phat Blues Kelly Bell has taken exception to this, and has tried many times to get the belts off the champions. Kelly Bell sent his Phat Blues Security team (Josh & Jeremy), and his new group of Doyle Day & Buck Chyld, to take the titles away. Both teams were unsuccessful. During a backstage meeting, the CEO of Phat Blues, Inc. yelled at his group, telling them that if he wants something done right, he has to do it himself. So, on December 28th, Kelly Bell will team with his Roadie, Mad Dog Buzz Stryker, as they attempt to knock off ths champions, and, in the process, score one of the biggest upsets in MCW history.

MCW RAGE TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
JASON STATIC (champion) vs. DANNY JAXX

Jason Static was determined to walk out of the MCW Double header weekend, in November, with the Rage TV Championship. What he didn't plan on, was not being able to face the man that he had been training to fight, then-champion Danny Jaxx. Static did walk out with the title, thanks to special assistance from The Commish, and Christian's "senior official" Bob Starr. Static defeated former WCW Hardcore Champion Norman Smiley, to claim the title.

Marylandwrestling.com received this from The Commish:
"From the offices of Commissioner Jim Christian:

Danny Jaxx was scheduled to defend the MCW Rage TV Championship against Jason Static on Friday, November 10th in Harrington, DE. Jaxx informed MCW officials that he will not be able to wrestle at that event. The match was rescheduled for Saturday night, November 11th, in Hampstead, MD.

When Jaxx failed to appear prior to the start of the event, I made the call to strip Mr. Jaxx of the title, and declare that Jason Static face Norman Smiley, with the winner, awarded the Rage TV title.

And with the outstanding senior referee, Bob Starr, calling the match right down the middle, Jason Static def. Norman Smiley, in a match that could have gone either way.

Let me be the first to congratulate Mr. Static on his title victory. And special thanks to Mr. Starr, for doing such an outstanding job of officiating.

Jim Christian
Commissioner of Maryland Championship Wrestling"

The victory marks Static's second title win of this year. Earlier this year, Static, along with Scott Fowler, defeated Danny Doring & Danny Jaxx to win the MCW Tag Team Championship. However, Static's first title defense will be against the former champ. Jaxx wants the title back. And while he understands why the decision was made, Jaxx will do whatever it takes to once again be the MCW Rage TV Champion. These two have a history of trading titles back and forth. Danny Jaxx hopes that on December 28th, the trading of titles will continue.

GRUDGE MATCH
THE SLACKERS (Chad Bowman & Lunchbox Dino Divine) vs. THE GHETTO MAFIA (Dope & Creed)

For most of the year, Qenaan Creed was a man without direction. While he was a challenger for the Cruiserweight Championship, Creed failed on numerous occasions to capture the gold. Creed seemed lost and often frustrated. And he expressed that frustration to MCW management, with the feeling that he wasn't being treated fairly, that more interest was paid to "golden boys" like Derek Frazier & Chris Sabin. Creed even comtemplated leaving MCW for good.

Another frustrated superstar within MCW was 2-Dope. Dope, a former Tag Team, Cruiserweight, & Rage TV Champion, felt that he wasn't being pushed the way an MCW Triple Crown winner should be. Dope has been around since day one, and believed that the focus of MCW should center around him. Anger reached a boiling point, and Dope walked away from MCW, but kept a close eye on the company. Seeing someone he believed was just as "screwed by the man" as he was, Dope approached Creed about joining The Ghetto Mafia. Creed agreed, and together, The New Ghetto Mafia have been on a roll, causing destruction wherever they appear. And destruction is what they caused at MCW Monster Mash in october, when Dope & Creed attacked The Slackers.

The Slackers, Chad Bowman & Lunchbox Dino Divine, are one of the greatest tag teams in MCW history, winning the tag titles twice, and at one point, holding the titles for 14 months. The Slackers won the tag titles this year at Resurrection in February. However, after defeating Doyle Day & Buck Chyld, Chad & Lunchbox found themselves as the victims of a vicious sneak attack by Dope & Creed. The Ghetto Mafia's attack on The Slackers sent notice to the entire MCW tag team division, that they are here to make an impact, and destroy anyone in their way to winning the titles.

In his words, Dope brought Creed home, giving him the street knowledge from Poplar Grove & Edmondson Avenue. Now, they will head to 8th Avenue & Grayburn Drive in Glen Burnie, and invade Holiday Homecoming with the intentions on destroying the signature tag team of MCW, The Slackers.

Can the most dangerous tag team in MCW wipe the smiles off the faces of the Slackers? Or will The Slackers get serious, and turn back the challenge from the team that many believe could dominate MCW in 2007?

MRS. CLAUS CONTEST
LANA vs. ANGELA

Two of MCW hottest ladies will compete in the first-ever Mrs. Claus contest. Both ladies will be dressed in special Holiday lingerie. And you, the fans, are the ultimate winners, as you will get to choose which lady oozes the most sex appeal.

If there is any snow on the ground on December 28th, these ladies are guaranteed to melt it all, as things will heat up when they face off in the MCW Mrs. Claus Lingerie Contest.

#1 CONTENDERS ELIMINATION TAG TEAM MATCH
THE HOLY ROLLERS vs. THE REBOBOTH BEACH CREW vs. BUCK CHYLD & DOYLE DAY

These 3 teams have a lot to prove, as one of them will receive a shot at the MCW Tag Team Championship at Resurrection '07.

The RBC has a lot of momentum coming into this match. During the live event in Hampstead this past November, The RBC eliminated 2 teams (The Slackers & Phat Blues Security) before losing to Tag champs Bruiser & Genesis. They were so close, and now, they want one more shot at the gold.

Buck & Doyle have a golden opportunity to get a shot at the titles, especially since they have failed to win a match in MCW thus far, suffering major losses to The Slackers, and North Carroll High School Coaches John Nauth & Jim Stall. But one victory here will erase all of that, as they would have a guaranteed shot at the titles by winning this one match.

For The Holy Rollers, this victory will make the comeback more special. After being forced to split earlier this year, Earl & Rich found a loophole in the contract that allowed them to return to MCW. Now, can the 2-time MCW Tag Team Champions rebound, and win a shot to become champions again?

Three teams with one goal. Find out who will achieve that goal tonight..

DEBUT OF "THE LOUNGE"

Chris Lunn sent this in:

Two months in a row Pro Wrestling Unplugged has had to deal with the invasion of the Juggalos... On Friday Night, December 22nd, PWU got a bit of redemption when PWU invaded JCW's "Big Baller X-Mas Party!" Waving the PWU colors were PWU Heavyweight Champion, Devon Moore, Johnny "Angel" Kashmere, PWU's Hardcore Champion and JCW World Champion, Corporal Robinson, and "The Complete" Pete Hunter.
Violent J. of the Insane Clown Posse started off the show announcing to the sold out crowd that Pro Wrestling Unplugged stars were in the house. With that announcement, out came Johnny Kashmere and Devon Moore who verbally berated the Juggalos. Things got so heated that fans began to dose the two PWU stars with beer, so much so that the event was halted to clean the mess. The Juggalos' fans got so irate that three fans made it into the ring to attack Kashmere and Moore, however those fans were quickly ejected by security.

"The Complete" Pete Hunter took on JCW's 2 Tuff Tony in a hard hitting contest. Despite Hunter's best efforts, he came out on the losing end in that battle.

But the team of Kashmere and Moore got some redemption from the JCW locker room. Moore and Kashmere teamed to take on the Bumpin' Uglies. Kashmere and Moore made quick work of this Juggalo squad defeating them in approximately 6 minutes. The finish came when Devon Moore nailed a giant Shooting Star press!

In the Main Event, for both the PWU Hardcore Championship and the JCW World Heavyweight Championship, Corporal Robinson defeated Bryer Wellington! The finish came when "Corp" nailed his patented boot camp into a Christmas Tree!

Overall, the night can be seen as a success for Pro Wrestling Unplugged. Robinson, Kashmere, Moore, and Hunter showed the Juggalos that PWU is not going to sit back and let the "Clowns" run the show!

But wait there's more.....

Somebody listened to W-F*CKOFF, ICP's online radio station, and Corporal Robinson called in on J's show and both teams were announced in full. They are as follows...

Team PWU
Corporal Robinson
Gary Wolf
Johnny Cashmere (Backseat Boyz)
Trent Ashley (Backseat Boyz)
Pete Hunter

Team JCW
Violent J
2Tuff Tony
Dison Price (or whatever his name is,)
Madman Pondo
Raven

Also, J suggested that Shaggy should be hand-cuffed to PWU owner Tod Gordon outside of the cage during the match. Either way, it looks to be shaping up to be a good show. If you're living anywhere in the Philadelphia area, you should defiantely check it out on January 20th.
