Russo's writing for one hour episode, The Naturals status & new decision |

According to reports, Vince Russo has been told internally that he is writing too much for a one hour episode of TNA iMPACT! every week. Whether or not we will see changes because of that remains to be seen. It should be noted that some reports making the rounds have stated that Spike TV has already offered TNA a two hour timeslot, but that things still need to be worked out from a financial standpoint. Of course, none of this has been confirmed at this point and could simply be hearsay.
With TNA making a decision to break up The Naturals, it appears Andy Douglas could be done with the company at this point. No word on Chase Stevens and his status with TNA. Douglas did not work the last set of TNA TV tapings on December 18. We hope to have more on this soon.
TNA reportedly informed talent last week that the company will no longer be paying for their hotel and rental car fees. News of this has been considered a huge morale killer within TNA, with word of this decision being announced just days before Christmas. With some lower-end talent only making a few hundred dollars per shot, this could end up costing some in TNA a lot more than usual.
