For those who may have seen commercials running already, "Wrestling Society X" will debut on Tuesday, January 30 at 10:30pm on MTV. The first episode is scheduled to feature the following: Jack Evans vs. Matt Sydal, musical performance by Black Label Society and an Over the Top Rope Elimination/Ladder Match with 2 WSX contracts for a shot at the WSX Championship above the ring featuring Vampiro, Six Pac (Sean Waltman), Justin Credible, Teddy Hart, New Jack, Youth Suicide, Kaos, Puma, Al Katrazz and Chris Hamrick.

Big Vision Entertainment, who are the producers for WSX, are currently working on post-production for the series which includes work on voiceovers and editing various trailers that are designed to gain viewer interest. The quick commercial that is running on MTV right now hyping its debut on January 30 is believed to be footage from the original pilot taped in early 2006. As of now, the plan for each WSX episode is to open with a musical performance and then have the musical stars that week sit in for guest commentary.

It should also be noted that in addition to the TV debut of WSX on January 30, there will also be a second series that will air on MTV.com titled "WSXtra" which will be hosted by Lacey and Fabian Kailen (who is the announcer for WSX). WSXtra will feature more matches, vignettes, interviews and a preview for each upcoming episode on MTV. The plan with this "internet series" is to help further storylines and to air matches that may not make it onto TV. There has been some small talk about cable companies with Video On Demand adding this series to MTV sections, but nothing has been confirmed.

As mentioned earlier, the series will be going head-to-head with ECW on Sci Fi every week for the last 30 minutes.
