Fresh off 4-1 at the Royal Rumble, I am back to try and improve on my dispicible showing at Final Resolution. I can guarantee you one thing, I will not be picking any draws in this TNA show. Ok, let's get to work, Against All Odds.

Pre Show
JAY LETHAL & SONJAY DUTT vs. SEROTONIN

I like how they're doing Serotonin. A little bit here and there, a little step forward, three steps back. It's good to get them entrenched eventually with someone, and give Raven the reputation he needs as a maniacal leader of this off the wall cult following. With that being said, I would not be surprised to see Dutt & Lethal pull this off. What would make me absolutely sick to my stomach, and I am scared it may happen, is some sort of ridiculous interference by Kevin Nash. I can accept Raven getting involved in some way, because it is his troops, and the faction is the faction, but this ridiculous gimmick with X division guys and Nash/Shelley/Backlund has no legs in my opinion, but I am scared that because Nash or Shelley are not booked this time around that they may figure out a way to get involved in some form of an X Division match. The only reason why I think it's here is because Jerry Lynn has enough sense to tell Nash what to do with himself, and Nash would probably listen, because Lynn is just about as old as Nash is. Anyway, take the wildcard of interference out of this, I'm going to go out on a limb and take the X Division stars over Raven's boys. Look out signapore canes, more are about to be broken.

WINNERS: Jay Lethal & Sonjay Dutt

Basebrawl 2
TEAM ECKSTEIN vs. TEAM PIERZYNSKI, a.k.a., LANCE HOYT vs. DALE TORBORG

Quite frankly, I am sick of baseball being involved with wrestling. AJ Pierzynski, David Eckstein, you have had your ten minutes in the world of pro wrestling, get out of dodge now, before this turns in to a laughing stock. Dale Torborg is the only one with any experience enough to make this work, and he wasn't much of a player back in the days when he donned the uniform of the Kiss Demon back in WCW, so what makes TNA think he's going to be competitive against Lance Hoyt now? Answer, who the hell knows what Vince Russo thinks. And let's call it as we see it, Johnny Damon involved in this has to be driving the brass of the Yankees absolutely nuts. All of these guys are putting themselves at such terrific risk so close to spring training. As far as the match goes, Hoyt wins, because he has more experience, period.

WINNER: Lance Hoyt

UPDATE: 8:05am, Sunday, 2/11
If anyone is upset about the comments I made in that paragraph initially, I wish to apologize. I have edited out the portion that was brought to my attention that could be considered in bad taste. It's wrong for me to wish harm on anyone, regardless of my own personal opinions.

Christy Hemme's In Ring Debut

It'll be interesting to see who they pull out of the air to face Hemme. I only hope she can provide a more viable attempt at wrestling, because her last go rounds in a pay per view setting in WWE were nothing to write home about. I give Hemme credit for wanting to compete, but the unknown factor here scares me. I can sense her being set up for a major league beat down, which would be devastating and unnecessary, in my opinion. Hopefully, this match is quick, Hemme figures out a way to win, and we can move on with the buildup, slow buildiup of the X Division.

JAMES STORM & MISS TENNESSEE vs. GAIL KIM & PETEY WILLIAMS

Chris Harris makes his return here, no questions about it. Somehow or other, Harris will interfere, causing probably a DQ win for Storm & Tennessee. Jacqueline Moore vs. Gail Kim is a dangerous scenario, for Kim, because Moore is ten times more powerful than Kim is. Kim may be able to outwrestle Moore, but Moore just will overpower Kim to the point of no return. Williams and Storm is an intriguing matchup, but bluntly, this match screams interference from Chris Harris to spring this new blood feud in to action leading to the March PPV. This new match that's coming, if it's not X division guys, I wouldn't be surprised to see Storm and Harris involved in it somehow, because this is one of the most intense feuds out there, only perhaps behind Rhino & AJ from a singles perspective.

WINNERS: James Storm & Miss Tennessee

MOTOR CITY CHAIN MATCH
RHINO vs. A.J. STYLES

This one screams out for Rhino to have a distinct advantage. While Styles can get hardcore when he has to, Rhino has the significant advantage in matches like this. However, Rhino is outnumbered, and I believe the presence of Tomko, the NWA World Heavyweight Champion, and Scott Steiner will affect this match somehow, and give the win to Styles. It's been like that from day one of this feud. The winner has won with all the odds against them for the bulk of the match, and then, WHAM, with the turn of a switch, the match is over, and the other person won. I see that here. Rhino dominates, someone interferes, and Styles pulls out a win.

WINNER: AJ Styles

LITTLE ITALY STREET FIGHT
TEAM 3D vs. THE LATIN AMERICAN XCHANGE

Brother Ray and Homicide one on one in an extreme rules match. Now that would be television I want to watch. However, seeing one of these teams travel to New York City to "attack" the other's family? That's just stupid. You wanna get revenge on 3D taking out Konann? Come out to the ring and border toss Devon and Ray through tables, or out to the concrrete. Anyway, it's a matter of time before 3D have the belts, but this match ought to go to an extreme level of violence, which is never a bad thing. I am curious to know how they'll make this a "little italy" street fight. Probably something corny. Give the victory to 3D, to lead them to want to go for the belts next month at DX.

WINNERS: Team 3D

X Division Championship
CHRIS SABIN vs. JERRY LYNN

I didn't realize how pathetic Chris Sabin looked when he came out in a diaper, but after thinking about it, that does make the X Division again begin to look like a second rate product next to anything in the world. Sabin is a world class combatant, and he's reduced to that type of sophmoric humor to get a rise out of the crowd in his feud with Jerry Lynn? I don't like Lynn because of his "attitude" on screen during his brief tenure with WWE, but the fact remains, Lynn can wrestle his ass off, even at the ripe old age of 43. Sabin is a terrific wrestler, a world class talent, and a damn good heel, but I think that TNA is planning on putting the belt on Lynn. It gives him a chance to end his career properly, on top of the mountain one last time.

WINNER: Jerry Lynn

Prison Yard Match
STING vs. ABYSS

I hate this storyline. I feel like Jimmy Swaggert is trying to absolve Charles Manson. It drives me nuts. I am not even sure of the rules of this match. Looks like a singles King of the Mountain match to me, but I digress. I didn't catch the rules because the week I watched TNA, it was horrible, and I didn't like all the promos and no wrestling. Annyway, Sting wins the match because I don't think there really is anyhing for Abyss left to do if he wins this match and moves forward. I don't want to see this match whatsoever. Sting's character is really beginning to get on my nerves.

WINNER: Sting

NWA World Heavyweight Championship
Unofficial Enforcer - Samoa Joe, Consultant for Cage - Scott Steiner
CHRISTIAN CAGE vs. KURT ANGLE

A WWE match headlines a TNA PPV. The irony is unbelievable. It's also sad because this one is so predictable, it's not funny. It's not going to end clean, it can't. Joe & Steiner have a history, we know Joe & Angle have a history, and Steiner has a history with pretty much everybody in the damn match. I'd be stunned if Angle and Steiner got along at all, and from what I saw last week, Angle pretty much has a bone with the entire lot of this match. I would suspect some way for the champ to retain, and all four men end up in some four way dance to determine the champ either on Impact or in March at DX.

It also wouldn't surprise me to see Angle win because Angle could be setting himself up for a big pay day in a title match vs. Joe. Personally, I think this match is terribly booked, because it's too damn predictable.

WINNER: Christian Cage
