VCW Invades Virginia Beach March 3rd!

Vanguard Championship Wrestling debuts in Virginia Beach, Virginia on Saturday Night, March 3rd!

This historic night will be the first of many events at Pembroke Hall (also known as Pembroke Bingo), located at 4815 Virginia Beach Blvd. in the heart of the city.

The Main Event features VCW Heavyweight Champion Mike Booth defending the championship against former Heavyweight Champion Q-Sic. Sources have confirmed that Q-Sic has been hitting the gym excessively for over a month in hopes that this match would be signed, and he has vowed to leave Virginia Beach with the gold!

WWE Hall Of Famer and Mid-Atlantic Pro Wrestling Superstar Greg "The Hammer" Valentine will return to in-ring action, battling Independent Wrestling veteran Shorty Smalls. Valentine is out to prove that he still has what it takes to make it to the top in VCW, but Shorty has plans to stop him in his tracks in his quest to win the VCW Heavyweight Championship.

Fans are buzzing about THE MATCH OF THE CENTURY: Sean Denny vs "Mr. Mid-Atlantic" Damien Wayne vs Rex Sterling! All three have been making a name for themselves throughout the Mid- Atlantic Area, and each have competed against each other in five-star matches. The winner of this epic match will be rewarded with a VCW Heavyweight Title Match that can be used at any time. Wrestling fans throughout Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina are encouraged to witness this historic match and to support their favorite.

A bitter dispute over the right to the name "Revelation" will be settled...Not in a court of law, but in the squared circle! 6D6 and Brandon Day will team up against any combination of "The New" Revelation (allowing a possibility for 4 on two), with the Revelation name on the line. The winners of this match will earn the right to call themselves "Revelation" , and of course the losing team will forfeit all rights to the name (including any pending copyrights and royalties from merchandise and video footage).

This week, it was announced that Mr. Salazar, manager of High Spotz and Rex Sterling, had made travel arrangements for the Virginia Beach event and has promised a surprise team that will take the tag-team titles away from Ross and James, The Hall Brothers. VCW management had tried to work with Mr. Salazar to sign a rematch for his team High Spotz against The Hall Brothers, but those efforts were in vain. A letter threatening legal action against VCW for discrimination was soon received, and despite the fact that the company offered his team a rematch, Mr. Salazar issued a statement warning VCW that our attempt to settle the matter by offering a title match after-the-fact would not suffice. Insiders have been unable to gather any clues regarding who this mystery team may be.

Bell time is 7:30pm. Concessions will be served. General Admission is only $10! Kids 5 and Under are FREE!Do not miss this historic night of wrestling. Saturday Night, March 3rd.

CW's School of Pro Wrestling will be opening within the next few weeks in downtown Kingsport... And we are currently looking for dedicated students who are serious about becoming professional wrestlers.

Our prices are some of the cheapest in the entire country. Our total training price is over 30% cheaper than all other major wrestling schools in the country.

The course is 6 months long... For the First 3 months, students will train 2 days a week while learning the basics of professional wrestling... . For the Second 3 months, students will train in a longer advanced class 1 day a week and wrestle in front of live crowd 1 day a week. (During the second half of training, some of the top students could end up wrestling on Championship Wrestling's TV program and could possibly start to take limited bookings around the country)

We also have programs for current workers who want to brush up on their basics as well as current workers who just want to come down and get some ring time in.
