Kurt Angle upset about steroid scandal, TNA texting service, + AJ Styles
On Friday, March 9, 2007 at 6:23 PM EST According to reports, sources close to Kurt Angle are stating that he has been very upset about being linked to the Florida steroid investigations that were first noted by Sports Illustrated this past week. Angle issued a statement this week stating that he was involved in no wrongdoing and said any prescriptions he received were for strictly medicinal purposes. He was reportedly upset that Sports Illustrated didn't get the "full story" in his eyes before printing it, although SI did state they contacted Angle for comment and weren't able to get anything back. Although Angle was said to be upset about the story itself, what hurt him the most was the coverage in his hometown of Pittsburgh and has spoken up about possibly cutting himself off from the media.
TNA is set to launch its own mobile texting service (similar to what the WWE has) starting this April. If anyone is interested in signing up early, all you have to do is text the word "TNA" to 250000. Those who have done it have received the following message back: "Thank you! You are on the priority list to be the 1st to get access to the TNA Mobile FREE trial offer!! Expected launch date is April 1st or sooner."
Alex Marvez has an interview up with AJ Styles in his syndicated column about the Elevation X Match at the Destination X PPV this Sunday at this link.
