WWE.com is reporting that WWE has come to terms on the "immediate release" of Joey Mercury this afternoon in Chicago IL.

Here is the complete posting:

"WWE.com has learned that today in Chicago, WWE officials have agreed on the immediate release of Joey Mercury."

No word yet on why Mercury was released. We will stay with this and have more later today.
