Chris Kanyon retires from wrestling, + Sean O'Haire badly beaten; more
On Friday, April 6, 2007 at 11:47 AM EST Chris Kanyon, a former talent in WCW and WWE has officially announced his retirement from wrestling, on his MySpace Blog. After being released from WWE a few years ago, he claimed that he was let go for being gay despite a lack of evidence. As of late, Kanyon has been working at some independent shows on occasion and made a one-time appearance for TNA.
Former WCW and WWE wrestler Sean O'Haire (real life name, Sean Haire) recently suffered three fractures to his face and skull after being involved in a fight outside of a bar. Haire claims he was attacked by three men, when in fact, there are several witnesses claiming he was one of the instigators. Since leaving WWE, Haire has been competing in Mixed Martial Arts.
