PWInsider is reporting that tickets for the Memphis Wrestling event on April 27 being headlined by Jerry Lawler vs. Hulk Hogan will go on sale this Saturday through Ticketmaster.

It should be noted that the event is now being held at the Fed Ex Forum in Memphis and not the Mid-South Coliseum. A recent episode of Memphis Wrestling TV claimed they moved the show to the Fed Ex Forum because they didn't expect the Coliseum would hold the estimated crowd they are anticipating for the show.

While that is the spin we are getting from the promotion, the likely reason they aren't running the Mid-South Coliseum is because the city of Memphis refused to open the doors to the venue for the show as the arena has been shut down due to its outdated operations. The Fed Ex Forum holds an estimated 19,000 fans and is used on a regular basis by WWE for events in Memphis. It is scheduled to hold the Unforgiven PPV this year in September.
