MCW Declaration of War Results
Oshawa, Ontario
April 13
The show opened with an intro video, followed by Adam Haze and Jesse Amato giving a brief rundown of the card, pluging the Deathmatch and even a cheap plug for merch.
Rachel sung Oh Canada only to get interupted towards the end by Max Boyer and Viking. Viking got on the stick and did a wicked promo in french. What he said... who the fuck knows? Boyer said that they came out to call out SeXXXy Eddy. Eddy came out, and Max Boyer led a "Happy Birthday" song, only to say "Happy Birthday dear ASSHOLE" which started a brawl. Viking/Boyer teamed on Eddy which brought out Ruffy Silverstein.
Match 1: Ruffy Silverstein vs Max Boyer
-Solid technical match. Awesome "Do a Back Rake" and "Where's My Poutine?" chants. Very back and forth. Boyer goes over via putting feet on the ropes.
Match 2: 4 Team Tables Match.
"So Fine" James Wine & BJ Stardom vs The Sound Bros. vs The Wild Stallions vs Clayton Sincade and ???
The mystery man turned out to be Steve Brown. This was a really great match. Honestly cant remember how Wine and Stardom were eliminated. Obviously a table spot somehow. One of the stallions got powerbombed onto the other one laying on a table. The last elimation could have been the spot of the night, where one of the Sound Brothers... I think it was Owen Sound was laying on a table by the entrance way and Clayton climbed up the lighting truss system and dove an easy 15 feet onto Owen obliverating the table and winning them the match.
Match 3: Lionel Knight vs Christopher Bishop.
The crowd was all over Knight. "Small Balls" chants... "Tiny Testes" and after every two count... "Twooooooooooooo .... smaaallll baaallllssss"
This was a phenominal match, back and forth again, high flying as expected. Bishop missed the 450 and Knight got the win with something... can't remember again im tired.
Match 4: The Gym Rats vs Timothy Dalton & Prodigy
Not a bad match. I felt it went a tad too long but it was pretty solid for what it was. Timothy Dalton won the match for his team Via a Canadian Destroyer.
Match 5: Lt. Logan Savage vs Darth Cutthroatus.
Savage did some kind of German Nazi thing. Cutthroat was actually WAYYYY over. Decent match. Cutthroat takes it.
INTERMISSION! During intermission... Pierre smoked a splif.. maybe 2 ... or 3. Um other than that... Nothing really happened.
Match 6: Stupefied vs Kenny the Bastard these guys came out and had a really good match, that exceeded probably everyone's expectations. Ladder came into play, however Max Boyer came out to assist Kenny in the win, leaving everyone to believe that Kenny the Bastard is now a member of Viking's "Connection du Quebecois" alongside himself, and Max Boyer.
Match 7: Player Uno vs Kobra Kai
Uno was super over and Kai had a mixed reation of cheers and boos. They had a really good match untill Champagne hit the ring and beat on Uno. This brought out XTREMO to even the odds, and the match turned into an impromtu tag team match with Uno and Xtremo going over in what was a pretty solid match.
Match 8: Viking vs SeXXXy Eddy
Eddy came out and did his usual thing with 2 chicks. Viking was next out. This match turned violent and quick. Thumbtacks were introduced minutes into the match, this viking got slammed and dragged on. Eddy stuffed them in his mouth, and gavehimn the uppercut. they leaned a lighttube roll thing that Pierre graciously brought against the guard rail and Viking went sailing into it, shattering the tube and smashing over the rail into the chairs. Spot looked pretty badass. They brawled some more, and vikng hit the wire. A fork was introduced at somepoint. They took it out and onto the balcony. Teased someone getting tossed off. Vikign ended up getting kicked down the 13 or so stairs. Back to the ring, another lighttube thing in the corner. Viking's face was placed on them and Eddy STOMPED THE BACK OF HIS HEAD SMASHING VIKING'S FACE THROUGH THE TUBES. Fuckin' Awesome! Viking then actually ripped off Eddy's tights and his bare ass was hanging out, and appearently you saw a nut aswell. he covered up his package with the front half of his tights, while he ran to the back. He got another pair on, and this time Kenny the Bastard came back with him, brawling wiht Eddy. Eddy fought him off and went back to the ring with Viking. Eddy went for the Total Sextacy Imploding Senton but Max Boyer came form the back and grabbed his foot which allowed viking to get the advantage and give Eddy some sort of reverse wheelbarrow suplex package first onto tubes for the 1 ... 2 ... 3.
Crowd was extremely into this mayhem.
Overall. Minus the crowd being slow to start, the show was really really great. The eventually got into it chanting along with Pierre and Co. and started to get the hang of it. By the deathmatch they were all going insane.
Attendance approx. 200

Deaner again went to pile drive Avery on roof of car. This time Avery low blowed Deaner. Avery then pile drove Deaner on roof of car and got the pin for the win.
Raven rules Steel cage Clockwork Orange House of pain match. Raven rules were War Games rules. 2 start and fight for 5 minutes and another enters the ring. NVPW No Remorse Results
Found this review of the NVPW No Remorse show on the NVPW website message board. By some guy calling himself HeelFan. Not a bad read at all.
Mar 31, Niagara Falls
Crazy Steve vs. Platinum
Platinum entered first displaying a fine set of threads and a superstar like strut - but of course the Niagara Falls fans didn't appreciate what they were seeing, I really see good things for this guy.
Steve came out next - Steve is clearly the fan favorite in this match - not surprising with the lack of intelligence of most of the crowd (sheep) - Steve Fits right in.
Platinum started out strong in this match and took it to Steve early on - landing a series of vicious chops. Steve picked up the pace and turned it around as the match moved along.
After a series on near falls - the end came after the ref blew a 3 count and as Platinum was politely discussing the matter with the ref - Crazy Steve snuck up behind him and put him in his submission finisher. Not what I would call a sportsman like maneuver - and totally uncalled for - But a win none the less.
Crazy Steve by Submission
=============
Joe Doring Vs Pepper Parks
Doring came out looking grumpy and ready to tear someone’s head off. He didn't seem to care much for the crowd either way.
Parks came out flying - slapping hands with the kids (hope he washed his hands afterwards) - quite the entrance. The sheep loved it.
Good pace to the match - couple nice spots from both. Pepper hit a nice cross body from the top - Doring seemed to shake it off. The tide seemed to turn when Doring inadvertently got his hand caught in Peppers tights and as he tried to get his hand free Pepper tripped over his own feet and landed face first on the bottom turn buckle. This set up a couple near falls for Doring.
The end came when Doring caught pepper off the ropes with a nice slam and got the 3 count.
Not sure why but Doring let Pepper off the hook after the match. He really should have slapped him around for a bit - not only could he not get DQ'd he was already down and hurt - oh well?
Solid win by Doring

Jake O'Reilly vs. Tyson Dux
Tyson came out like a man on a mission - he wanted nothing to do with the fans on the floor - and showed his displeasure right away - can’t say I blame him.
O’Reilly, always a popular fellow with the sheep - came out to a nice sized ovation.
This match was a war - it started off a technical match - lots of switches and good pace. After a bit O'Reilly started to fall back on his MMA training and went for a couple of submissions - nice knee bar at one point, but couldn't roll Dux's knee over. Dux seemed to be more than willing to roll with O’Reilly – Dux’s submissions and defence are solid and he was real close with an armbar- he just couldn't get O'Reillys hands apart.
After they stood back up - technical wrestling went out the window and they started throwing fists. Good body work from both. Those body shots are nasty - nothing feels (or sounds) quite like that then crunch of a fist in the floating ribs. They both got tired quick. If either of these guys had leg kicks it would have been the deciding factor - it is generally forgotten that leg kicks are well within the rules.
The end came as O’Reilly slapped a triangle choke on Dux - Dux managed to Slam O’Reilly and put him in position to pin his shoulders - but tapped-out just after the Ref counted to three. Now the Ref said the count and the tap were at the same time - but the pin came before the tap - I could see MUCH better than the Ref - so I'm right. Plus you know my opinion of refs (see signature).
In a tragic miscarriage of justice - the ref called it a draw and didn't want to work an extra 5min....can't blame him....work sucks!

==========================
Cody Deaner comes to the ring with his usual fan fare - but he really
wasn't in the mood to pet the sheep tonight. Although he did point out his fine haircut to a few of the youngins. First he tells us about how much of a chicken John McChesney for not wanting to fight him – so his match is off - then he says that he wants to clear something up - he doesn't like the fans - he doesn't need the fans - and certainly care what they think - and he made sure to emphatically point out that he doesn't care what the bartender thinks - at least I assume that’s who he pointed to last. All good points.
He explained that the only thing that he has done here is beat people up - and he's beat them all but TID – an that’s because TID doesn't have the balls and he's ducking him.
That brings out the Champ. TID doesn't quite agree with Deaners assessment, says he's in a sporting mood and tells him it's on. Deaner should be careful what he wishes for.
We have a main event – and it’s going to be nasty.
===========================
Andrew Davis and Brad Martin vs. The Italianos
Good reception for the champs - they seem to be picking up steam as a tag team - which makes the sheep happy and might give these guys the momentum for a bit of a run. The Italianos will have to be on the ball tonight.
The Italianos seemed to be in a foul mood - and I thought Toni was going to finally kick the crap out of the old guy (isn't he dead yet). Primo seemed all out of sorts - he even shook hands with a fan - he must be really missing his belt and is getting all confused out there.
Match started out quick and Davis and Martin took to the Italianos right away. The former champs were slow getting out of the gate - but managed to get control of the pace and take control. Then the Italianos went to work - they kept the tags quick and cut the ring off to isolate
Martin from Davis. Martin and Toni went at it for a good exchange with Toni just missing with a beautiful moonsault off the top that would have ended it right there. In the end it was Primo working over Davis on the outside and Toni getting ready to finish Martin - when Martin reversed a reverse powerbomb attempt into a stunner like DVD. Martin snags the pin.

===============================
Atlas vs. Wylde
Wylde comes out first to a good ovation from the crowd – but he looks pissed. It seems that Wylde has come to his senses and realized how truly pathetic this town is. He goes on to explain how when he left Niagara Falls a couple of years ago - he was glad to go - and now that he's back, it is one of the lowest points of his career. He hates the guts of every single person in the building and they can all kiss his ass. Use your hate Wylde - it will only make you stronger.
It was a honest speech with a clear message - Derek Wylde is at the lowest point in his career - and it is the FANS fault - the FANS are the blame for all his troubles - and he has had enough. He should not have cared about them.
I applaud you Derek Wylde - the first step to recovery is placing blame, and it is certainly not your fault.
Great match from beginning to end - I think the crowd was in disbelief at the pre-match goings on as it took some time for the crowd get into - but when the crowd did get into it their true colours really came through - they hate Derek Wylde.
Derek did a brave thing to admit how stupid the fans are - and how wrong he was to care about their opinion – and now the fans are all over him - doesn't seem right.
The pace was good and Atlas was more than hanging with Wylde - Wylde seemed to pick up the pace and took control when it got nasty and went to the outside. He used everything at his disposal and controlled the pace. Wylde even had to fend off attacks by some of the kids in the front row - they should have been tossed out.
Atlas took an advantage when Derek bought the belt into ring to show Atlas something of concern - the ref got involved - and all hell broke loose. In the ensuing melee - Atlas got the belt and suckered Wylde - earning a DQ. Atlas doesn’t even know how to cheat right – pathetic.
Good showing by Wylde for the win - the "W" is all that matters.
Wylde by DQ

Brodie Lee vs. James Champagne
This match pissed me off - I like Champagne - but I've been saying for weeks that he's getting soft and starting to appreciate the fans. If Champagne is going to win this one he's going to have to have his cheat on.
Champagne came out to a mixed reaction - really didn't seem too interested in the crowd one way on the other.
Then out comes Lee - don't people realize that they are cheering a New Kids on the Block song - but they cheer as soon as the boy band screeching starts. Lee bothers me beyond belief - he has the tools to go far yet he seems to CARE what the sheep think and it's holding him back.
The match started slow and Lee and Champagne really seemed to get into it with the crowd. Both guys worked this match hard - it was back and forth for a good bit. Champagne tried to turn the match around when he found a knuckle duster in the ring - and tried to use it. The weapon was tossed as aside - and Lee seemed to take charge again. When the opportunity came - Champagne tried to give Lee a nunchaku lesson - but instead taught the Ref a thing or two. With the Ref out cold - Lee used the knuckle duster and made Champagne go to sleep. The spare ref came in and made the count.
Brodie out-cheats the cheater - wake up Champagne. Read my match predictions.

Main Event
Deaner vs. TID for the Heavyweight Title
This is a classic match-up for the main event - All business in this one - no fan fair - this'll be a scrap. Neither of these guys will yield a bit - nor miss an opportunity to TAKE the advantage. Remember an eye gouge is as scientific as a Figure Four if the ref doesn’t see it.
I heard chants for an extreme match and a no-DQ match – don’t want to see it. A no-DQ match is cop-out for babyfaces who can't get it done in a real match because the 'bad man' keeps on cheating. This is a wrestling match - do what you can do - within the rules or without getting seen by the ref (see signature). If you are good at it - you will win - if you suck - you get DQ'd.
These guys came to fight - Deaner jumped TID before the bell to start off strong. Deaner kept the pace for a while - until TID started to lean on him and slow him down. Then TID started to take control and wear down Deaner - then Back to Deaner - it was back and forth.
This match was a masterpiece. They pulled out all the stops - traded eye rakes, fish hooks, choked each other in the ropes, hit low-blows, used close fists, took it to the outside and fought in the crowd and broke at 4 every single time. When they needed air they rolled out and took the 9 count. Both used the rules effectively to their advantage. A few lazy pins on the near falls - got to remember to grab them tights, every time.
Eventually the belt came into play and was set-up by TID in the corner - TID and Deaner traded set-ups into the belt - with Deaner eventually getting a close-up view. However, Deaner changed the pace with a well timed low-blow.
The match ended when Deaner missed a cane shot from the top and was hauled up into a muscle buster. Damn good match.
Rightfully upset, Deaner flipped out ringside and displayed how truly competitive he is, and disappointed he was at the loss. While contemplating his loss he was attacked by a crazed little girl with the bell hammer – Deaner quickly disarmed her and was lucky to escape serious injury.
