We reported yesterday that Austin Starr has been suspended for 90 days by TNA Wrestling. At the time, details were very sketchy as to what all went down. We now know more details.

According to PWInsider, Starr (who is also known as Austin Aries) was sent home from the TV tapings on Monday in Orlando. The word making the rounds for his suspension from TNA was that some in the company in management were unhappy with his attitude. There doesn't appear to be one specific situation that caused the suspension. The feeling among many wrestlers is that because Starr is a very brunt and brutally honest person, it hurts him politically in the locker room.

For those who remember, Starr was suspended by TNA back in February of 2006 along with Roderick Strong. Starr and Strong were given the suspension by the company when they refused to travel to Florida and miss bookings for Ring of Honor due to a bad blizzard that was creating travel problems. The two ended up making all of their ROH bookings and made it in time for the Against All Odds PPV in Orlando, but received suspensions as a result and their push as a tag team in the company was halted. Strong later opted to not sign a new deal with the company. Starr, previously known as Austin Aries, re-debuted as the Austin Starr character in October of 2006 at the Bound For Glory PPV in Detroit. Starr was scheduled to continue his feud with Bob Backlund after the Lockdown PPV.
