According to a recap appearing on PWInsider, Cory Macklin called into the Bubba The Love Sponge Show to promote Memphis Wrestling's "PMG Clash of the Legends" event this Friday in Memphis.

Macklin stated that nine matches were scheduled for the show, including the Hulk Hogan vs. Paul Wight main event. Other names such as Buff Bagwell, Barbarian, Brutus Beefcake, Koko B. Ware and Greg Valentine are also on the card. Lance Russell, Jimmy Hart and Macklin will all be doing commentary for the show. Ticket sales are said to be doing well, with Bubba saying that 5,200 tickets had already been sold.

Macklin also went on to discuss how Vince McMahon is upset that Hogan can still draw on his own without WWE. Bubba added that Vince was "shady" in how he handled the event in Memphis and how he approached Cory. It was noted that there will be multiple video crews taping the event on Friday and that the first 5,000 fans through the door will get a free $20 Sam's Casino Slot Play Card.
