Here's the latest news from Power Trip Wrestling, as we head into PTW - "Betrayed" on May 19th. There's a slightly sombre air at the PTW Offices currently, due to Luton Town FC's recent relegation from the Championship; but this has apparently just inspired well known 'Hatters' fan PTW Owner Peter Staniforth into wanting to put an even better show on and give Luton something to enjoy.
THE MAIN EVENT!
Here at Power Trip Wrestling last time, we announced an international star, and his championship title; coming to Luton on May 19th for "Betrayed". Irish Whip Wrestling star Bingo Ballance, who is the current IWW Zero-Gravity title holder, will be defending his belt that night - against not one, but TWO opponents! Matt Naylor, and Seb Drea, have both stated their case for a match; and this will happen on May 19th. Seb Drea made his debut in April at PTW 'Superstitious', and his ability to fly is well known, 450 degree top rope manoeuvres and much more come naturally to this man. Many consider Matt Naylor to be potentially the best all around wrestling in PTW, and seeing as this will be Naylor's first PTW match; what better way to start off than in the main event? This match will be nothing short of highflying and wild, as all three men look to show the fans just what they're capable of!
TAG TEAM CHALLENGE!
Now added to the show is a huge tag team match, with the "New Wave Enforcers" Frantastic & 'Big Time' Brian Braddock facing off against Rich N' Famous & Kyle Kraze. There's a lot of history between these guys, with all four having worked on the same side as each other, they've wrestled against each other; and more. This one is about pride, and wanting to prove the point of who is better. Expect their knowledge of each other's in-ring talents to provide an awesome match, as each team tries to bring out new moves and strategies.
AND THE ANSWER IS.....
With the whole situation with the PTW Hardcore Title that is continuing to rage on, PTW Owner Peter Staniforth this week announced that in Leon X's match with the controversial champion Jim Brooks, he will indeed suspend the 24-7 rule that Brooks took advantage of in April. Peter was quoted as saying, "It only seems fair, as this way there will be a decisive winner on the night for the fans. Jim Brooks needs to remember who's in charge around here, and it's yours truly."
NEW TALENT ARRIVES IN PTW!
At Power Trip Wrestling, we like to give our fans the chance to see new wrestling talent from around the country that they wouldn't get the chance to see otherwise. With that, on May 19th at "Betrayed", PTW will be having a showcase match from our friends at Real Deal Wrestling (RDW), who are based in Grimsby. We will announce the wrestlers involved very soon.
TALKING BUSINESS!
Power Trip Wrestling are proud to announce a main sponsorship deal with The Wheatsheaf Pub, which can be found at 184 Bishopscote Road, Luton, LU3 1PE. Under new management, with great live entertaiment and acts appearing; visit the best pub in town! And who knows what stars of PTW you may see there if you visit at the right time....!
