Heres some quick notes and the results.
Moondog Cujo over Barbarian. Moondog came out with a shovel and trashcan and a big chunk of wood. Barbarian smacked Moondog over the head at one point and a chunk of the wood flew into the audience.
Greg Valentine over Mr. Hughes. Pretty impressed that Hughes kept his sunglasses on the whole match. Valentine looks like he's looking worse and worse.
Jazz won in the womans triple threat. Jazz came out rapping her own entrance theme which I could have done without. Extremely short match but quality wise the women did a better job wrestling than what u see on raw. Of course they didn't look half as good though.
Abdullah and Al Green was a no contest. Wow Abdullah is really really fat and looked like he could hardly move. He never even got in the ring. Green was beating the crap out of him to start off. Abdullah started bleeding almost immediately. Then out came the fork. Seemed like the next 10 minutes were Abdullah dragging Green around and nailing him with the fork. Lots of blood.
Dundee and Mandell over Koko and Bobby Eaton. Dundee and Mandell brought out Jimmy Valiant before the match. Once Koko and Eaton got to the ring they announce they had someone to bring out too. Out came Slick to join them. Towards the end Valiant grabbed Slick and started kissing him to keep him from getting involved and helped Dundee and Mandell get the win.
Brutus Beefcake and Bubba "The Love" Sponge over The Assasins with Sal Corrente. Brutus looks like he's in pretty good shape. Well other than his hair which it looks like hes losing. After the match came the sleeper hold to Sal and then the haircut.
Brian Christopher over Buff Bagwell. Bagwell came out and talked about how he was planning on telling everyone to go to hell but once he got to Memphis he realized they already were in hell. After the match Christopher brings a kid in the ring to dance.
Forgot to mention before the event it was announce that 2 Cool II had won the tag titles and would defend them tonight.
Ricky Morton and Kid Kash take the tag titles from 2 Cool II. When Ricky Morton came out he gave some little speech to apologize for Gibson not being there and then announce he was bringing out a tag partner that was someone he helped train and out came Kash. Seems like Kash did most the work in the ring. Saw Kid Kash outside the arena while we were waiting in line too. Seemed like a pretty decent guy.
Hulk Hogan over Paul Wight. Should have been obvious who was gonna win this match. Hogan chants started the second the tag match was over with pretty much since people knew what was coming up next. Yes there was a body slam to Wight. Big boot and leg drop and all the stuff youd expect. Although the big boot looked like it was to the chest and not the head. Was it the match they should have had at Wrestlemania? Not at all. Am I glad I saw it? Yeah. Was it better than the Khali and Kane match? What wouldn't be?
Hogan did some posing afterwards but not the normal 30 minutes it seems like he usually does. All in all not a bad show but not the best of shows. Not a horrible crowd but didn't even come close to filling the place.
