Opening night number for The Condemned not good at all; comparisons
On Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 5:31 PM EST The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE Films' "The Condemned" starring Steve Austin opened at No. 8 last night at the box office doing $1.3 million in its first night in 2,310 theatres. That is WAY below anyone's projections and would be considered a bomb.
In comparison, "The Marine" starring John Cena opened in its first day with $2.3 million in 2,545 theatres and "See No Evil" opened in its first day with $1.6 million in 1,257.
