Location: Chicago Ridge, Illinois
Jeff passed on the following report credited to Ave of the Pro Wrestling TITANS e-fed:
--Delirious won the six man mayhem, getting the pin on Gran Akuma. Jigsaw did in fact compete (he was questionable after a concussion last night in the Ultimate Endurance match with the Briscoes and other CHIKARA grads) but Mike Quackenbush really got the crowd's support.
--Erick Stevens and Chris Daniels fought to a draw. Afterwards, Daniels cut a heel promo praising TNA and saying he wished he never came back to ROH. He announced his own Farewell Tour (ala Samoa Joe) but said it would end as soon as he walked through the curtain.
--Brent Albright won the Four Way Dance over BJ Whitmer, Homicide and Jimmy Rave, pinning Whitmer after an Exploder. Hard-hitting match.
--Austin Aries defeats Rocky Romero with the 450. Afterward, Roderick Strong came in for the beat down on Aries, but Delirious made the save.
ROH annouced their return to Chicago on June 23 and announced that Naomichi Marufuji and KENTA from Pro Wrestling NOAH's would be on the show, with KENTA facing the returning Bryan Danielson in a rematch of their stellar contest from Glory By Honor V Night 2.
--Morishima defeated Shingo.
-- They ran an angle in place of Bobby Dempsey v. Sugarfoot, where Tank Toland took over the match, crushing Sugarfoot and offering to train Bobby Dempsey.
--Roderick Strong defeats Jack Evans with a brutal combo move I couldn't identify. I believe it killed Evans. Then Romero joined in on a beating and Delirious made the save again, cutting a promo.
--ROH Tag Team Titles. The Briscoes defeated Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, The Motor City Machine Guns. Very, very strong match, and way over with the crowd. Shelley and Sabin should definitely be brought back.
--Colt Cabana makes Adam Pearce submit with the Billy Goat's Curse and says his farewell to ROH.
