'Sacrifice' PPV Notes: Jarrett vs. Roode, Texas Death Match + NWA split
On Monday, May 14, 2007 at 5:19 PM EST The Jeff Jarrett vs. Robert Roode match took place earlier in the night at Sacrifice to allow Jarrett to fly back to Nashville and be with his family. As reported on earlier, Jarrett's family is currently going through a hard time right now and we hope things improve on that end very soon.
Believe it or not, there was said to be no serious injuries coming out of the Texas Death Match last night involving Chris Harris and James Storm. As you can imagine, both are really banged up after the intense match they had with Storm losing lots of blood.
One idea reportedly tossed around to explain the split between the NWA and TNA Wrestling was to have Larry Zbszyko appear as an NWA representative at last night's PPV and strip TNA of the belts. However, that idea was shot down and the belief is that TNA will vaguely reference the situation or not even acknowledge it at all.
