Steven Ashe sent in these notes:

Last year was the inaugural wrestling show for the Tim Horton's Children's Foundation and was presented by NSW: New School Wrestling. It had its ups and downs but has been requested by popular demand once again to help raise money for the Camp Day fund. So, this time, presented by LLW: Living Legends Wrestling, pro-wrestling action will return to Burlington once again. For now, here are three main matches that will take place.

"Double-Double, Timbits & Trouble"

one more match to be announced soon.

If that's not all, the event is hosted by non-other than
LLW Commissioner himself Ricky Stardust.

Lastly, a 30 minute Tai Chi Demonstration from Mr. Gerry Gaw of The Taoist Tai Chi Society of Canada.

There is no admission fee however donation boxes for the children's foundation will be set-up so the more money raised the better.

NSW Maximum Carnage Results

From some old church in Waterdown, Ontario
May 11
First half referee: Pistol Pete
2nd half referee: Some apprentice
Attendance: 24 (half fans, half other wrestlers)
Photo Barge: Emanuel Melo
Ring announcers: First half, some unknown guy. 2nd half, Stephen Elias

1) NSW Cruiserweight Title Match: Sebastion Suave vs Xtremo.
Not too bad of an opener and the best match of the first half. Suave retained his title.

2) Darth Cutthroatus vs Amazing Darkstone w/ Stephen Elias.
This one made Xtremo vs Suave look like Pillman vs Liger. Fun times for the fans coming up with variations of Darkstone's name. (Winner: Craig Wilhelm for "Dickfarm") Darkstone won when Darth suddenly realized he wasn't dreaming, the match was actually happening, and he pushed Ref Pistol Pete from the ring to get himself disqualified.

3) NSW Brass Knuckles Title Match: Logan Savage w/Jules vs Steve Brown w/PP Smalls.
I'm guessing Savage was the champ because he came out with the belt. Jules came out wearing a skirt smaller than most belts. A basic brawl with lots of interaction between managers. Smalls hit Jules in the head with a cardboard tube of death but she survived. Savage & Brown used a chair on each other throughout the bout. In a truly surreal hardcore spot, Brown decked Savage with a train! (it was a toy train but Savage sold it like he got hit by a real one. He did everything but explode into chunks of white-powered flesh.)

PP Smalls ran to a back room and returned with a very dirty mop. Dust, gym rat feces, Kris Law's dna and God knows what else was flying everywhere. When Brown pinned Savage, Smalls ran in circles around them in the ring shaking the mop. Good thing no fans were there to see that random act of stupidity. (Can I say that? Darcy doesn't have that trademarked does he?)

That was actually the second time Brown pinned Savage. The first time, Ref Pete called Brown back to the ring after counting 3 by saying it was actually only 2. (even tho it was plainly a 3 count.) Then a few more chair moves, the dirty mop and a choke slam and Brown pins him anyway. So...
This is either brilliant booking designed to swerve the smarks (who thought the 1st pin was called back because Savage was supposed to win and thus were shocked and aghast to discover that they weren't as smart as they thought when Brown still won the match.)

Or, it was a rib on the official who was told one thing and handed another during the match. (In which case... that would be brilliant too!)

Or, they forgot who was supposed to win and Ref Pete's sweat (Yea, his. He was the hardest working man in the match.) erased their notes about the finish they wrote on their arms prior to the match.

Or... Here, you do one:

Trust me, it'll be more fun than the match was. The only thing brilliant about it was Jules' bum. Too bad. This feud could have been so good.

Round about this point a large NSW poster thingy on the side of the wrestler's entrance way fell to the floor. It was like some eerie forshadowing of doom like a Shakespearean tragedy. It was a snazzy entrance way... a plywood wall with a curtained doorway. An NSW poster thingy on either side of the door. (Okay, the poster thingy was a cardboard box with a poster stuck to it.) And it looks like they scooped the velvet entrance ropes to a theatre. It just didn't go anywhere. Wrestlers who used it just popped in or out the side and out the main door.
The locker room was upstairs. Before the show, about 100 fans left when two wrestlers (rumored to be Alex York & Jay Fenix) pressed their naked buttocks to the windows that overlooked the old church front entrance.
In other news from the old church...

Stephen Elias arrived at the venue with an unidentified female companion. He denied they were related and she denied being a paid escort.

A 9 year old kid had to show Hayden Avery how to turn on the lights.

Spotted among fans was former NSW wrestler Urban Warrior Mark Shaw. I can say that I'm 99% certain that the cross on his arm is actually a tattoo.

Craig Wilhelm said he would no-sell Devine's threatened punch. (That one's unconfirmed.)

Lindsay wins Fan of the Month honors for standing strong in her support of Ontario Indy in the face of the WWE juggernaut just 20 minutes away in Hamilton by bring signs to the show! Hayden Avery was so overcome with emotion and loyalty that he proposed to Lindsay. (He didn't have an engagement ring so he used his hat. It was beautiful. I hope Melo got pics of that!)

Anyway... the show.

Brothers By Choice came to the ring. They are Kristopher Law and Ethan Page. Law said that he was gay and he would sing a song to one of three fans: Me, Craig Wilhelm or Melo. Manny quickly volunteered and climbed into the ring like a San Francisco Steet car. Law began singing I Swear (Apparently, it's a Boyz2Men song.) Melo was getting pretty hot and bothered by Law's singing (and so too was an un-named wrestler in the back who reportedly curled into a 140 pound ball; crying and mumbling "No Daddy! Please, no!")

All the heat in the old church vanished suddenly with the arrival of Kraft Dinner, Kyle Davenport. Melo bailed from the ring like an iceberg calving from a glacier. There was some convo between KD and BBC then the wannabe boy band started beating the crap out of The Whole Fag-in Show.
Zakk Atticus and Kris White made saved Davenport and it seems he is now their manager. (So long Sugar Twins.) The best part about this segment was no microphone. (It was hard to hear the ring announcers shouting over the roar of the... mnph... snck... crowd! BAHAHAHAHAHA! [sorry.] but in this instance was a Godsend.)

4) (The Apprentice Ref took over from Pete from this point on.)
2 of 3 Falls: Timothy Dalton vs Matt Bison.
I'll tell you what I told Dalton... that match sucked donkey balls.
Seriously, BOTH these guys are so much better than they showed during the first 2 falls of this match. I didn't see the finish as I went outside for a smoke. Apparently, Dalton won again.

Intermission - Not all the fans who went outside came back in for the second half of the show. Too bad because it was way better then the first half.

5) Eddie Osbourne vs Jay Fenix.
A very entertaining match. Osbourne was hilarious! Osbourne got DQ'd when he used a chain supplied by Prodigy to blast Fenix in the head. Prodigy attacked Fenix after the bell and Hayden Avery made the save.

6) The Gym Rats & The Davis Brothers vs The Wyld Stallions & The Flatliners.

Not bad. Teetered close to clusterfuckville a couple of times but played out okay. Asylum stole the match (and the show) with his stiff-as-a-plank backwards fall after one of the Davis Brothers hit him with a Gym Rat. It ended up an 8 person brawl ( I was gonna say 8 man but it just didn't seem right for some reason.) Joey Valentyne got pinned giving the win to the Davis Bros & Gym Rats. Burns & Asylum played rough with the Rats after the bell.

7) NSW World Title Match: Prodigy (c) vs Hayden Avery.
GCW fans take note: Hayden Avery has SOLD OUT! He wore a Def Leppard shirt! This was a fun match (as opposed to a good one, if ya know what I mean.) Some fun brawling outside that saw Hayden use Prodigy's head to take requests from the audience for songs on the piano. He also used fans as weapons, smashing Prodigy's head into some guy's foot and smothering him in a female fan's ample cleavage.

Eddie Osbourne came to the ring with a chair which served to distract the Apprentice Ref long enough for Prodigy to nail Hayden with a chain and thus get the win. Jay Fenix saved Avery from further damage. Fenix's head was bandaged and he appeared to be dillusional, believing himself to be Hacksaw Jim Duggan, complete with 2by4. Mr Von Dutch said something to Prodigy & Osbourne but I didn't hear it and I'm too tired to make something up.

That is all.
