On Saturday, May 19th Rage Wrestling is proud to return to Carleton Place, Ontario with what looks to our best event to date, or so it seems on paper. Carleton Place has generated our most enthusiastic crowds to date and we at RWE want to reward them by brining the best possible event every time we’re in town. Now lets take a look at the scheduled matches for Unstoppable.
The event will also see appearances from Mr. Know It All, Misty Haven & MVP Michael Von Payton.
Canadian Dynamite Max Boyer vs. Stupified
The returning Boyer will look to pick up where he left off almost a year ago when he gets in the ring with the relatively new daredevil Stupified. This clash of styles should prove to be an interesting yet very entertaining match. This could be an early candidate for match of the night.
The Prophet vs. Dave Titan
Prophet’s RWE debut didn’t go according to plane last month so he hopes to redeem himself at Unstoppable by getting into the win column. Prophet’s only problem is the man standing in his way, RWE mainstay, Dave Titan. At Uprising Titan came extremely close to becoming the RWE Champion, so Prophet definitely has his work cut out for himself.
Damian Styles vs. Jay Fenix
Damian has had a rocky return to the ring after spending several months on the sidelines with an injured pectoral muscle. After getting a rather easy win in his first match back, Damian lost his next 2 contests showing that it may not be as easy as he though to knock off the ring rust. New York City’s Jay Fenix looks to get his second win in RWE as he hopes to catch Damian Styles on another bad day at the office. This match could easily go either way.
Virus vs. Player Uno
Last time Carleton Place was witness to an event these two competitors were in an exciting 3 way dance which saw Uno pin Virus to win the match. Virus, obviously with revenge on his mind, demanded this match to settle the score between the two. Will the 8 bit luchador continue his winning ways or will the new comer Virus get that all important 1st victory in RWE? This match could also be an early candidate for match of the night.
Unreal Michael Elgin vs. Pierre Khoury
This will be a match of 2 big men, each looking to finally make his mark. Both men have been off and on the roster over the last several months and they’ve both had some consistency problems. This should be the match that catapults one man up the ladder and closer to the championship picture.
Triple Threat Match : Frank The Beast Bradley vs. Ryan Rush vs. Zack Storm
Zack Storm and Ryan Rush have been in a feud that has gone back and forth for over 6 months now and The Beast is on an incredible winning streak. Whoever comes out on top in this one will likely receive a title shot in the near future so there’s a lot at stake in this one. Storm will likely have the odds stacked against him in this one as both Rush & Beast have had encounters with Storm over the past several months.
RWE Championship Match- Handicapped Match : © Quinson Valentino & Prince of Persia Rahim Ali vs. Drake Styles
This long awaited confrontation seems lop sided but Styles wouldn’t have it any other way. After nearly a 7 month feud he wants to get the RWE championship back and take out 2 of the most devious adversaries he’s ever come into contact with. This match will change the face of the RWE title picture for months to come. If Drake Styles loses he’ll fall out of contention and likely won’t get another title shot without compiling a string of victories. The same fate can be said for Rahim Ali. If Valentino loses he would still have his rematch clause that he can use at any time he chooses. The odds seem out of Drake’s favor but this 2-time RWE champion may just have a trick or two up his sleeve.

PWA Mother's Day Mayhem Results
From J's Place in Brantford, Ontario
May 13
Ring Announcer: Hatguy
Referee: Andrew Mollon
Attendance: 22
1) Wonderboy Zakk Atticus def. Kris White
2) Lak Sadartha def. Zakk Atticus & Kris White in a handicap match.
Sadartha came out after Atticus pinned White (with his feet on the ropes for leverage.) The Sugar Twins bailed then decided the two of them together could handle Lak. They jumped back in the ring and the bell rang. Sadartha beat the crap out of both guys before hitting the Laxative (F5) on both guys at the same time for the double pin. Lak then gave each Sugar Twin their own personal Laxative.
3) Illegal Allan Joe vs David Wood ended in a no contest when Lak Sadartha came out and killed both guys.
4) Rip Impact def. Jay Fenix
Good match. Maybe the best on the show depending on your taste in styles.
5) The SportFather Jessy Jones def. The Motion Picture Ethan Page
Jones came out sporting a priest-like look. (If priests have a white cross on the groin area of their trunks.) Page provided some high energy competition but Jones controlled most of the bout, finally pinning Page after a powerslam. Father Jones then told Page "Sportopia isn't for faggots like you!"
6) Illegal Alan Joe vs David Wood ended in a no contest when (you guessed it) Lak Sadartha came out and killed both guys.
7) Prodigy retained the Southern Ontario Championship over Easy E.
8) Impact Eddie Osbourne w/ Amy Victory def. The Suicide Messiah Marc Mandrake w/ Ferrari in a Fans Bring the Weapons match to win the Pure Violence Championship.
This one was nuts. A few shakey moments here and there but the insane hardcore spots made up for that. Osbourne displayed a far riskier style than normal but appeared beaten when Mandrake suplexed him through light tubes. Everyone seemed confused about the count by ref Mollon. Ferrari & Amy brawled at ringside as Eddie punched Mandrake in the nuts and rolled him up for the pin. Osbourne & Mandrake embraced after the match.
Highlights included:
Mandrake's DDT while standing on a table
A Chant Monkey jumping into the ring to set the table up in the corner
Eddie blasing Mandrake with a giant GLCW sign
Mandrake putting Eddie into the table with a running Death Valley Driver after a standing one failed to break it. That attempt failed too.
Osbourne cutting off Mandrake's 'shot for shot' challenge with a crossface
Osbourne missing Mandrake and landing on the underside of the table. It still didn't break.
Osbourne being suplexed through tubes
Mandrake delivering a DDT onto a barbed-wire donkey.
