» With the return to Buckland coming at us at an alarming rate, new talent and matches are being signed for the show all the time. For you to be there live and in person head over to our new online store, at: http://www.ipwuk.com/shop/, or simply check out the main site itself (ipwuk.com) for news as it is made available!
» As was mentioned in last night’s Orpington update, it was announced that Kris Linnell will be making his in-ring return on June 2nd at IPW:UK’s return to the Buckland Community Centre. Linnell has been out of action recuperating from the violent Cage Match at Caged Warfare back in October last year, but has been working hard recently to get back in ring shape, and looks to show that he has no ring rust on June 2nd.
For Linnell however, his return match is sure to be a gruelling and strange one. In a fatal-four way where tags are legal, we will see Linnell up against three opponents by the names of BLOK BUSTA, JOEL REDMAN and the man on a mission of late, JAMES TIGHE. Linnell has never been in the ring with any of these three men, and will face three very different challenges against the fun loving, the brutal, and the technical wizard.
» With the news that JC Thunder will be replacing Andy Boy Simmonz on June 2nd’s Portsmouth return, IPW:UK have today decided that this will be the site of the first defence of the incoming champion. Many names have been banded about as to who should be the first man to take on the new champion, but none came up more times than that of LT Summers.
Summers, who is currently working with a badly broken and disfigured finger, is undefeated in professional wrestling in singles competition, has never been pinned in any way shape or form, and has defeated everybody put in his path in IPW:UK – be it rookies like Tommy DeMorey, or monsters like eXodus.
» Then, in our second main event of the evening, we will see ‘The Guvnor’ Martin Stone take on perhaps the toughest new challenge in IPW:UK, as he goes head to head, one-on-one with ‘The Bad Boy of British Wrestling’ Jon Ryan. Both Stone and Ryan have taken on immense challenges recently in the likes of Johnny Moss and Sam Slam respectively all around the country, and look sure to meet some time in the future in RQW, perhaps for the RQW Title that Stone is currently the holder of. On June 2nd however, they will meet for the first time in IPW:UK, as ‘The Bad Boy’ makes his Hampshire debut, and Stone makes his Buckland return!
IPW:UK Title Match
- JC Thunder (c) [first defence] vs. LT Summers
- ‘The Guvnor’ Martin Stone vs. ‘The Bad Boy of British Wrestling’ Jon Ryan
Tag Team Action
- Maximum Head (Max Voltage) vs. Ricky Hype & Matt Vaughn
Linnell’s Return To The Ring – Fatal Four Way
- Kris Linnell vs. James Tighe vs. Joel Redman vs. Blok Busta
Plus the return to Buckland of Blok Busta, and many many more of the fantastic familiar faces from IPW:UK and The Academy. Your referees as always, Chris Hatch & Andy Quildan.
