AIW sent in the following report:

Absolute Intense Wrestling presents
Absolution 2

The night started off with 2 pre-show matches that will be featured as bonus matches on the Absolution 2 DVD.

Sugarfoot Alex Payne defeated Shane Hollister

Jimmy Kosar and Jesse Burke defeated The Path of Resistance

Patrick Hayes defeated Teddy Fine
The match started off with both guys feeling each other out with arm drags and other technical holds. After a few stand offs the match spilled out onto the outside and Hayes was able to hit a few hard knife edge chops onto Fine. However Fine was able to get it back in the ring and take over on Hayes. Hayes was able to make a come back and after a blocked kick Hayes sat Teddy Fine in the corner and delivered a running double knee to Fine's back and then went corner to corner on a diving head butt to get the victory.

Mike Krease defeated The Potato

The Potato came out and got annihilated like normal but as soon as Potato tapped out to the dragon sleeper Old Time Rock 'N Roll blared in the arena and out came Ricky Morton!

Ricky Morton defeated Mike Krease

This match was real old school and the two traded shoulder tackles and Ricky Morton was able to turn around the momentum on Krease. However Krease was able to start using some underhanded tactics to get the momentum to swing in his favor. Ricky Morton was able to move away from a avalanche splash in the corner and rolled up Krease for the win. Ricky was well received by the fans.

CJ Sensation and Dios Salvador defeated Team Big League

A feud that started because of an attack on the injured neck, ended with CJ Sensation getting revenge by pinning "Sweet and Sour" Larry Sweeney. Team Big League showed their arrogance by coming to the ring with a flag baring the image of their leader "Big League" John McChesney. When Larry Sweeney asked the crowd to pledge allegiance to the flag, CJ/Dios attacked to start the match. During the course of the match, on a dive, Dios was busted open badly. Dios finished the match but had to leave the show to receive stitches at the hospital.
J-Rocc w/Vicki and Tracy Smothers w/Krystal Frost went a no contest

Absolute Owner Chandler Biggins and J-Rocc's war has waged for years and could have possibly ended at this show. For weeks J-Rocc and fans wondered who Chandler "would sell his soul to" and he revealed who had as he brought out two people that nobody ever expected to see in AIW. A back and forth match that included a huge catfight between the ladies, ended when J-Rocc had Smothers pinned. The entire building went black at the 2-Count, when the lights came back on, Smothers/Frost were gone. The lights then went out again, as Revelation 13's music hit. Thru the dark a huge fireball hit J-Rocc in the face. The lights came back on and Shirley Doe, John "The Passion" Thorne and Matthew Justice were in the ring. They attacked Vicki, with Doe giving her a brutal powerbomb and kicking her in the face. Doe then grabbed her in a choke hold and drank her blood. While this was all happening, Chandler Biggins stood in the entrance way confused, or was he? Doe ripped on AIW and said that he was there to reveal himself as the REAL leader of Revelation 13.

Tyler Black defeated Starless and Shiima Xion to become the new Intense Champion

The fans showed their support for all three by throwing streamers into the ring during the ring announcements. However once the bell rung, Black and Xion attacked Starless thru the streamers because they had only one goal in mind, the title. During the course of the high flying contest, Starless climbed to the top of the 20-Foot scaffold in the entrance way and hit a picture perfect moonsault. However due to the stress of such a high risk maneuver, Tyler Black was able to win the title and end the almost year long title run of Starless.

Thrillbilly defeated Tyrone Evans in a WALK THRU HELL match by KO

Since August of 2006, these two men have injured one another and endangered anybody that came near this feud. The match was under rules that Thrillbilly requested, during the first 6 Minutes and 66 seconds, there could be no winner. Plus Tyrone's managers Sister Ophelia and Malcolm Farrakhan and Thrillbilly's Agent, Aaron Bauer would be handcuffed to the ring posts during this time. For the 6:66 time period both men put each other thru hell including using barbed wire, kendo sticks, chairs, wood boards, street signs and more. Both men were bloody. After the 6:66 both wrestlers turned their sights on the managers as Thrillbilly quickly bloodied Malcolm Farrakhan and Tyrone bloodied Agent Aaron Bauer. After gaining an advantage, Thrillbilly got handcuffs that weren't used in the match from Bauer and handcuffed Tyrone to the ring. Thrillbilly brutalized Tyrone for over a minute with cane shots to the back of the head. During this, a fan actually jumped the guardrail to stop the brutality. Ref Tom Dunn stopped the match due to Tyrone being unconscious and declared Thrillbilly the winner.

"The Deviant" Michael Hutter defeated Chris Cronus

From the get go this match was brutal and hard hitting. Michael Hutter wasted no time in going after Cronus. These two beat each other up all over the ring. Cronus took the upper hand with a barrage of punches and kicks at the beginning but Hutter was able to fight through. The match continued it's back and forth ways until countered the F-5 with a reverse guillotine choke to make Cronus tap out.

Alpha Beta Duke defeated Revelation 13 and The Cut Throat Crew in a Tables, Ladders and Planks match to win the AIW Tag Championships

The planks in this match were actually 20 foot scaffoldings. In one of the most brutal and innovative matches in AIW's history, all three teams had many close calls with winning the belts. However while the Cut Throat Crew both set their sights on Matthew Justice in the crowd, Alpha Beta Duke had "The Passion" John Thorne alone. Nick Belushi laid Thorne on a table and covered Thorne's body in thumbtacks. He then hit a huge splash off the middle of the scaffold about 12 feet off the ground. Meanwhile, Duke climbed the scaffold and captured the belts. After the chaos, Shirley Doe came out and revived Justice/Thorne and stood them up to mark them with "X" using his face paint.

Raymond Rowe defeated Romeo Vino to retain the AIW Absolute Championship

These two seemed to pick up right where they left off in 2006 as they started trading blows in the middle of the ring after a face off. The action picked up from there. The match spilled to the outside and both men were taking brutal chops from one another and fighting on the floor. The gang stayed out of the match while this was happening much to the surprise of the fans. Rowe was able to hit some his trademark suplexes and even hit the Chaos Theory twice but Romeo kicked out! Romeo mounted a comeback with a top rope sunset flip/powerbomb and a reverse frankensteiner but it wasn't enough. Romeo climbed to the top rope to finish Rowe off but Rowe came to his senses and hit a devastating Super German Suplex and pinned Romeo. After the match Ray hugged Romeo and earned his respect. The Path took him to the back and as Ray was about to exit the ring Steve Corino hit the ring. Corino started jabbing about how he said he would make his presence felt and when Ray let his guard down Corino hit him with his bag and took off his street clothes to reveal his wrestling gear. Corino taunted Rowe to which Ray replied, "ring the fucking bell!"

Steve Corino defeated Raymond Rowe to become the new Absolute Champion

It was gut check time for Raymond Rowe as he just had a match with Romeo Vino and now he has to take on a fresh Steve Corino. Corino took advantage but Ray was able to mount a comeback and hit a belly to belly Suplex, a T-bone Suplex, and finally a German Suplex. These two were going at it real hard utilizing their strong style wrestling. Corino was eventually able to hit his Northern Lights bomb but it wasn't enough. Corino then hit his huge lariat that has put down many but it wasn't enough. Corino hit a 2nd Northern Lights bomb and taunted Ray to get up and just when he went for another lariat Ray hit the Drive by Dragon Suplex. Corino then hit a lariat with no effect on Rowe and it looked like he was going to make a strong comeback but just as Ray reversed the lariat Corino turned it into a rollup and got the victory and claiming the Absolute title for his own.

Intensity, DC Diamond, JMS, Eug Perversion, Mr. Professional, Vinny the
Guido and Jerry Fitzwater

Plus much more to be announced!!!

Matches Scheduled:

Special Attraction
Azrieal vs. Grim Reefer w/ Don Tony

Since VPW would not sanction a rematch with Kevin Matthews, Grim Reefer
demanded a match with an opponent of the highest caliber. VPW delivered and
named Azrieal as that opponent. Over the course of the last few shows, the
"Suicidal Demon" has been wowing the fans in some insane triple threat
matches. Now it's his time to take on one of VPW's best in a singles match.
Grim Reefer and Azrieal broke into the business around the same time and
know each other well, but it's been some time since they last met in the
ring and both men have improved greatly since that time. This match is
expected to see everything from pure mat wrestling to high-flying daredevil
maneuvers. On top of that, Grim Reefer will have his manager Don Tony
watching his back incase anybody tries anything. If you miss this match,
you will surely regret it!!!

First Time Ever Match
Matt Morgan w/ Vinny the Guido vs. "All Around Best" Xavier

Former WWE Superstar Matt Morgan will be making his VPW debut against the
returning Xavier. Xavier is currently undefeated in VPW and is looking to
keep that streak alive. Unfortunately for Xavier, he must go through a near
7 foot tall monster to do so. Morgan's manager, Vinny the Guido, has been
said to have been waiting for the right moment to make his presence known in
VPW and figured the best way to get noticed is by accompanying someone like
Morgan to the ring and defeating a top wrestler like Xavier. Vinny's plan
seems all well and good, but getting by Xavier will not be a simple task.
Knowing that he is outsized, Xavier will have to rely on his speed, agility
and extensive martial arts background to stay ahead of the big man. This
first time ever match will be one to watch!!

Women's Wrestling Action
Talia vs. Alicia

Coming off a red hot feud with April Hunter, Alicia now has someone else
with their sights set on her, the beautiful but dangerous Talia Madison.
Talia Madison has been scouting the talent at past VPW shows, but now she
feels it's time to make her move. Having recently won the WEW Women's
Title, Talia is venturing out to take on the best competition, which led her
to VPW and Alicia. Alicia has never backed down from a challenge and this
time will be no different. Both ladies are determined to prove who the top
female wrestler in the Northeast is. For women's wrestling at its finest,
don't miss this event!!

Grudge Cruiserweight Match
Javi-Air vs. Deranged

Last year, after a friendly match, things got very heated between two of
VPW's most popular wrestlers, Deranged and Javi-Air. Deranged and a
ringside fan, who happened to be Javi-Air's friend, had an argument and that
quickly escalated. That same match saw Javi-Air pin Deranged. The next
time these two met, Deranged pinned Javi-Air. It's been a few months since
then, but both men requested this match to finally settle everything.
Competition runs hot in VPW and the competitive nature of both individuals
will probably enhance this match further than expectations already are.
Issues will be settled and the action will be intense in this high-flying
match on June 8th!!!!

Special Challenge Match
"Ultra Sexy" Joe So Delicious w/ Jason Static vs. Mack Daddy Flexx

Jason Static feels betrayed by the VPW fans. Static truly believes that he
did everything for the people and when he needed the fans most, they weren't
there for him. Following, his severe knee injury, Static was forced to sit
out for months. During this time, Staic alleges that the fans didn't care
about him. He claims that he got injured trying to please the fans and that
his reward was nothing. Back in March, the injured Static was watching the
backs of his friends, Richie Tyler and Mack Daddy Flexx when he violently
snapped and attacked them. Mack Daddy Flexx immediately demanded a match
with Static, and while VPW officials would love to grant that request,
Static is still injured and can not compete at this time. Instead, Static
has recruited someone who Mack Daddy Flexx knows very well, "Ultra Sexy" Joe
So Delicious. Delicious and Flexx have known each other for years and
Static plans on using that to his advantage. Flexx had the following to say
when he was contacted about this match, "I'm going to break Joe Delicious in
half and when that crybaby Static is ready to go, I'll be ready." The
always confident Joe Delicious didn't seem bothered by Flexx's comments and
appears to be all set for his VPW debut. Will Mack Daddy Flexx continue his
dominant undefeated streak or will Joe Delicious take out the big man in his
VPW debut??

Tag Team Warfare
Eclipse w/ Jack O'Hearts vs. Dead Presidents

This is it, the match to finally settle the score. For months, the Dead
Presidents and Eclipse have been battling it out in VPW. What initially
started as just any other tag team match soon exploded in to an all out war.
Following their first encounter, Boog Washington was knocked out cold by
multiple shots to the head courtesy of Jack O'Hearts' briefcase. Boog was
carried off to the hospital while is brother, Lo Lincoln, helplessly
watched. Lo Lincoln swore revenge on Jack O'Hearts' thugs and challenged
them to a rematch, but luck was not on their side. Just days before that
scheduled match, Lo Lincoln suffered from several bruised ribs. He was
unable to appear at the VPW event, leaving his brother to deal with Eclipse
by himself. Looking for nothing more than a fight, Bison Bravado, with no
love lost for the Dead Presidents, stepped up to team with Boog Washington.
The makeshift team fought hard, but in the end, they fell short. Now with
the Dead Presidents at full strength, is there any place safe for Eclipse?
When asked for a comment, Jack O'Hearts had the following to say, "Daddy, I
am a winner. Eclipse are winners. The whole Crew are winners. The Dead
Presidents are losers. It's that simple." In response, we received the
following message from Boog Washington, "Eclipse and that weasel of theirs
are dead men walking." Short in to the point, it looks like the Dead
Presidents will do most of their talking in the ring.

Grudge Match
Sabotage w/ Jason Static vs. Richie Tyler

The rivalry that has existed since VPW's very first match on VPW's very
first show continues for one more singles match. Both men hold one singles
victory over the other and now it's time for the rubber match. Sabotage and
Richie Tyler know each other as well as anybody, but by no means do they
like each other. In fact, after VPW's first anniversary show, Sabotage
participated in the beat down initiated by Jason Static. Now it's time for
Tyler to get a measure of revenge under fairer circumstances. Unfortunately
for Tyler, the situation is still tilted in Sabotage's favor since Jason
Static will be accompanying Sabotage to the ring. Richie Tyler will have to
do his best to make sure that Static doesn't get involved in his affairs
once again. Don't miss this great cruiserweight action!!!

Singles Action
Scotty Rio vs. Major Intensity

This match will be the VPW debut of Major Intensity. Intensity is from the
original Doghouse and is finally making his return after over 5 years.
While he has been training hard, he has two things to overcome. The first
is that he's been out of action for a long time. The second is his
dangerous opponent, Scotty Rio. Rio has been causing problems for other
members of the VPW roster for the last several months, but has yet to secure
that big win. Rio's frustration may very well be the fuel that takes him to
victory. On the other hand, his frustration may be his downfall if he
allows it to consume him. With both men hungry for the win, who knows what
will happen here.

Four-Way Elimination Match
Johnny Suburban w/ Jack O'Hearts vs. Mr. Professional vs. Eug Perversion vs.
JMS

The winner of this match will be the last man standing. All four
participants will have their respective corners and anybody can tag anybody
at any time. First up is Eug Perversion who is looking for revenge on
anybody associated with Jack O'Hearts. Then there's Johnny Suburban who has
proven that he will do anything to win and that he has no respect for the
rules. The final two participants are JMS and Mr. Professional. Having
earned his first win back in March, JMS is hoping to win another one.
Unfortunately for him, the last participant in the match is the man who
spoiled his victory back in March. This one is looking to be one wild
encounter!!

Other VPW News

At VPW's anniversary show back in March, Kevin Matthews and Grim Reefer
brutal match ended in a double count out when Grim Reefer refused to break
the Chronic Crossface, which he had locked in on Matthews on the floor,
outside the ring. Eventually, VPW security and officials managed to
separate them, but not before another fight broke out. Due to the problems
at the last show, as of now VPW will not sanction another singles match
between Grim Reefer and Kevin Matthews. Both men will also have to be kept
in separate sections of the building during the course of this upcoming
show.

VPW is pleased to announce that former WWE Superstar Matt Morgan will be
making his VPW debut on June 8th. Morgan will be accompanied by new VPW
manager, Vinny the Guido. Vinny told VPW officials that he wants to cause
an immediate ripple throughout VPW and felt the best way to do so was by
bringing in a monster like Matt Morgan.

Injuries are running wild in the VPW locker room and Kevin Matthews may be
unable to compete on June 8th. Matthews will definitely be at the event no
matter what, but it is unknown at this time if he will be in action.
Matthews sent word that he's determined to "crush someone" on June 8th and
that he didn't care who his opponent would be. Kevin Matthews wants a
rematch with Grim Reefer, but even if he wasn't injured, VPW is not
sanctioning that match.

The injured Jason Static is also set to appear and will likely once again
address the fans that he feels betrayed him. As everyone knows, the last
time that Static was at VPW, he led an attack on his former friends, Mack
Daddy Flexx and Richie Tyler. Static then went on a verbal tirade directed
at the VPW fans. Who knows what Static is up to this time?

DC Diamond is currently on the shelf with an injury and may not be able to
compete on June 8th. Diamond is trying hard to heal up in time and appears
determined to make Johnny Suburban pay for what he did back in March.
Diamond received multiple concussions following a dangerous shot to the head
with Jack O'Hearts' briefcase. Diamond made it clear that even if he can't
wrestle, he'll be at the VFW Hall.

In other news, another member of the LIWF Doghouse alumni, Major Intensity,
is coming out of his extended leave from wrestling to see if he still has
what it takes. This former member of the Soldiers of Fortune has been
training hard and is looking to make waves here in VPW.
