As is known by now, Power Trip Wrestling are doing a show to raise money for the cause, and here's the latest news from PTW for the show, as the date gets closer....

"FAITH, HOPE, & CHARITY"!

Power Trip Wrestling will present "Faith, Hope, & Charity", on Friday 6th July, at the home of PTW - Luton Rugby Football Club, Newlands Road, Luton.

ANOTHER NEW MATCH!

Another match has been announced for PTW 'Faith, Hope, & Charity' on July 6th, and it's sure to make an impact - which is just how PTW like it.

In a recent trip to the PTW Offices, Matt Naylor said that he felt he could have won the 4 way main event match at PTW 'Betrayed' from May 19th (which also featured IWW's Bingo Ballance, and Ross 'The Gift' Jordan); if not for what he considered 'that jealous audience approval seeking idiot' Seb Drea. So, after discussions, the cocky and arrogant Matt Naylor will face off against his former childhood friend Seb Drea; in the name of charity. And that is where the good feeling will end, because this one is intensely personal; as both men feel they have a point to prove to each other. In the ring, they know each other's next move, and are even capable of thinking two moves ahead of what the other will do; so who will change their gameplan? Or will both men stick with what brought them to the dance?

There is one unknown factor that has to be considered though....We don't know quite what happened, but Naylor's confidence (read: arrogance) has rubbed one of the PTW ladies up the wrong way; and Bacardi has said that she will be in the corner of the very popular high flying star Seb Drea. What this gives us is the potential for one of the best matches in PTW history, and one you can't afford to miss!

A NERVOUS SILENCE....

In what can only be considered a very tense situation, after PTW Owner Peter Staniforth's words last time in reference to Jim Brooks and his manager Dan Edge; there was a simple statement made by the pair that bordered on chilling in it's simplicity. On behalf of Brooks and himself, Dan Edge stated "Mr Staniforth needs to consider the severity of his comments, and that one of these days his self confidence is going to cost him dearly. Accidents can, and do happen".

What is going on in their devious, and some say evil minds? In a seeming reference to his distant past as Peter's bodyguard, Leon X was quoted as saying that "I will do all it takes to keep Peter's safety my main priority before this show". Peter was uncharacteristically calm when asked about the situation, and just stared into space before muttering "I've dealt with bigger marks for themselves than Brooks and Edge, and the mind games that go along with it. I won then and I'll win again; so what makes them think they're so special?"....

What, if anything, will happen here? Are Brooks and Edge just trying to get into the head of Staniforth, and Leon X; to distract from the issues at hand on July 6th? Or are they twisted enough to justify a potential attack on the PTW Owner himself?

Anarchy Championship Wrestling
"If You Don't Like Pain, Then You Just Wouldn't Understand"
Graham Central Station
Sunday June 10, 2007

Match # 1 - Four-way Elimination Match
"Heatseeker" Tony Morales (win) vs. Jason Gore vs. Shawn Vexx vs. Julio Garza Match # 2 - Problems vs. Berry Breeze (Bio-Hazard Jaykus Plisken declared the winner) Match # 3 - "Bio-Hazard" Jaykus Plisken (win) vs. Angel of S.I.N.
Match # 4 - Tag Team Championship Match
Challengers Darin Childs & Daffney Unger vs. Kissyboots - Skylar Skelly & Rachel Summerlyn (win & retain title) Match # 5 - Triple Threat Elimination Match
"Hotsauce" Marco Riviera vs. "Showcase" Shance Williams (win) vs. Haniel T Match # 6 - Triple Threat Tag Team Match to name #1 contenders to ACW Tag Title Rexx Reed & Massive vs. Double Trouble - Chris James & Tony Vega (win) vs. The Sexy Fox-a-Dellics - Rory Fox & "One Man" Mike Dell Match # 7 - Main Event - ACW Heavyweight Championship Match
Challenger Jerry Lynn (win and new champion) vs. "Showtime" Scot Summers

Notes: In the first match, Shawn Vexx was eliminated first as Jason Gore hit a top rope elbow on Vexx following a 3 man pyramid slam involving Vexx, Garza and Morales. Julio Garza was eliminated second when Gore hit his "Slayer Driver" finisher. Tony Morales won the match by pinning Gore following a "Borriqua Bomb."

During the second match, "Bio-Hazard" Jaykus Plisken's music played and the big man came out and destroyed the two smaller men in the ring, covering both Problems and Berry Breeze, he was awarded the victory as the match had previously been announced that "There must be a winner."

Plisken's own match was next as he faced a much larger opponent than the two in the previous match. Angel of S.I.N. manhandled Plisken as no one else has been able, but Plisken was able to overcome this and hit his submission finisher on AOS.

In the Tag Team Championship Match, Kissyboots were set to defend against a "mystery team." No one was surprised when Darin Childs came out as one half of the team, but when Daffney Unger was announced as his partner the crowd went wild. The end came when, as Childs and Skelly battled outside the ring, Rachel Summerlyn was able to surprise Daffney with a roll-up for the victory. After the match, an unamed woman (now known to be Miss Diss_Lexia) appeared in the ring and attacked both Rachel and Daffney.

In the Triple Threat Tag Team Match to name the top contenders to the championship, Double Trouble avoided their opponents and scored a surprise victory when Massive pinned Rory Fox simultaneously as Mike Dell pinned Rexx Reed. Tony Vega and Chris James are now the # 1 contenders for the Tag Titles.

The main event, heavyweight title match between Challenger Jerry Lynn and Champion "Showtime" Scot Summers seemed destined to be a 30 minute time limit draw as neither man seemed able to gain the advantage, but as the crowd counted down the final seconds, Jerry Lynn managed to gain the victory, ending Summers' title reign. Jerry Lynn was proclaimed the new champion.

However, it was announced, Jerry Lynn isn't the second Anarchy Championship Wrestling heavyweight champion. He is the First IWA Texas-Anarchy Championship Wrestling heavyweight champion. ACW has accepted the invitation to join IWA as a full member.

Congratulations to Jerry Lynn of course, but also to Jacob Ladder, Darin Childs, Rachel Summerlyn, Skylar Skelly & Chesty LaRue and to everyone who has worked to make Anarchy what it is today. IWA Texas-Anarchy Championship Wrestling.

Check out www.anarchychampionshipwrestling.com for a detailed report on this show and other Anarchy related news including the next show, Sunday June 17th at the Venue 800 Lexington. Bell Time is 7 PM. It's fan appreciation night so all tickets are only $7.
