Foul play not suspected in death of Sherri Martel, + more on her passing
On Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at 7:54 PM EST The Tuscaloosa News has an article up where Captain Loyd Baker of the Tuscaloosa County Metro Homicide Unit is quoted. Baker states that foul play is not suspected in the death of Sherri Martel, but that she did not die of natural causes.
A cause of death for Martel will not be determined until her autopsy and toxicology reports have been completed. Based on what is known, Martel has gone to bed at her mother's home (where she was living recently) beacuse she wasn't feeling well. Her husband found her unresponsive later that afternoon.
