Scott Steiner leaves Puerto Rico, Konnan status with TNA, + TNA ratings
On Friday, June 22, 2007 at 1:45 PM EST Scott Steiner was officially released from the hospital in Puerto Rico and is now back in the United States after undergoing trachea surgery. Steiner took a cruise ship back to the U.S. as he has not been cleared to fly yet. He is expected to make a full recovery from the injury.
According to reports, TNA has pretty much written off Konnan as he isn't expected to be back. The feeling within the company is that this was something that was bound to happen sooner or later. As a result, TNA gave Homicide some mic time at the TV tapings this past Tuesday in Orlando (taped for "TNA Today") and the plan is to give LAX a renewed push.
The 6/16 replay of TNA iMPACT! drew a final 0.6 cable rating with a 1.3 share. "The Road to Slammiversary" special afterwards drew a 0.5 cable rating with a 1.3 share.
